Important! The criticism does not concern the app itself. It works reliably. The only thing that annoys me is the forced agreement to all the terms and conditions. My criticism, which I cannot make anywhere else, concerns the fee that is charged for this. No problem with costs for services such as map updates, but to tie convenience features, controls for equipment, etc., which were already paid for at a higher price when purchased, to an overpriced subscription is outrageous.

The app itself is good. But I would not have expected that you would be forced to take out a subscription if you want to operate the auxiliary heating and that the costs have risen from EUR 39 to EUR 89 per year from Mercedes-Benz and a luxury car (CLS). The last straw for me is that it only offers PayPal and credit card. Very customer-unfriendly.

Features and functions of the App may vary depending on your vehicle’s equipment and your subscription services. Use of the App requires an active Mercedes me user account, which is provided to you free of charge. You must also accept the applicable Terms of Use for Mercedes me connect services, which you can view on the App Mercedes me connect. Some features available for passenger vehicles and controlled via the App may not be available for “Mercedes-Benz Vans or Freightliner Sprinter at this time or in the future.
