I LOVE this app and HATE that it's going away. I've literally had it for YEARS!!! I waited until the last day and was given an additional month, so I'll wait until then before I make the switch. GOOGLE sucks! VERIZON let me down completely with this one.

Please don't eliminate Verizon messages. I've been trying to adapt to Google Messages for over a month, and I strongly dislike it. To the point, I'm considering switching to Apple products after being a Samsung only user for 15+ years. Why is this app being eliminated? I've seen reviews state that Verizon Messages is elementary. I strongly disagree; Google messages is elementary and dysfunctional.

Was excellent while it lasted. This app was light years ahead of the Google excuse for an app Verizon hoisted on us. I have used Verizon for over 20 years and this change is nearly enough to make me change carriers. The Gooe messaging app is so buggy it is almost useless. I receive phishing texts, but few of the texts se t to me and I have not yet been able to send one. I wasted nearly 3 hours today trying g to get the Google one to work. I doubt if Verizon did any due diligence.
