Locked me out permanently even though I put my password this app is the worse thanks for letting me lose my money

This company is getting worse by the day. I can't request a new card through the damaged card function as it comes up with an error day on day of trying. They're no longer open 7 days a week making it harder for one to visit the store itself and even then it takes about 2-3 hours to be seen for something. Gone from one of the best banks to one of the worst.

Thse "chat to us" section automatically tell me that I'm about to log out when I click on any area of the screen. The downtime today (19/1/2025) has caused distress with transactions that were declined being charged to the account when the card system came back up. The shop keeper said he doesn't want me to use my card because it will lock his system up. So because of the downtime, I have now been barred from using my card and charged for the pleasure. Ridiculous!

app seems to have got worse. when making a transfer the screen doesn't scroll so the keyboard is over where you are typing

My husband and I have both been using this app for a few years. Recently we have both had the same problem - the pages of the app( sorry don't know the technical name) don't fit the screen of our phones. For example on the opening screen where you put in your password the 0 and the delete symbol are below the bottom of our phone screen. We have sent photos to Metro but no reply. Help!!

Super easy to use, but the transactions section for day to day spending is not easily accessible.

Good quick easy. Annoying that when navigating between tabs the app closes. Not good when copying a reference number for a payment or remembering an 8 digit account number.

Registration - Getting Started
Whether you’re an existing or new Metro Bank customer it’s simple to get started.
- If you’re registered for online and telephone banking, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number, 8 digit security number and your password
- If you’re not registered for either, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number and the details of the card you used most recently or your Magic Word.

Metro Bank’s mobile app is available for Personal customers and also Business customers if they’re using Business Internet Banking only.
Standard data charges from your mobile service provider may apply.
