An absolute scam of a "bank" they are not regulated as they claim to be and harvest too much personal data from you that even other banks aren't this intrusive. Don't share your data with them there are much better alternatives! Stay away stay safe!

App was great but since the last update it's made everything lower which means typing in numbers to log in everything is too low down which interferes with my phones screen buttons (triangle, square and 3 lines) making logging in and navigation very awkward and not how it should be, why change things so much? If it's not fixed I'll change banks, loyalty doesn't pay anyway 🙄

For some reason all the options at the bottom on the screen are now behind the navigation buttons, meaning every time I want to do anything in app I have to change my phone settings from the three buttons into the swipe option. Please fix this???

On its face the app works but then the cracks start to show, when you want support. I wanted to order a new debit card and I tried several times with manage card option as they instruct you. didn't send it. tried the chat function, bot answers (horrible) and then I reached a person finally and the chat feature is so terrifyingly unoptimised. it won't register keystrokes (I use pixel 7) unless I type 1 word per minute. And the screen doesn't adjust to account for keyboard pop up.

It's unfortunate metro bank target to close account of foreigners without reason and target blacks to get their account closed with any reason disclosed. app faulty.
hasn't been letting me log in for the past week. had to change my whole weeks schedule because of this. because of an app fault. unacceptable, this has just been my last straw. changing banks as soon as i can log in.

Registration - Getting Started
Whether you’re an existing or new Metro Bank customer it’s simple to get started.
- If you’re registered for online and telephone banking, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number, 8 digit security number and your password
- If you’re not registered for either, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number and the details of the card you used most recently or your Magic Word.

Metro Bank’s mobile app is available for Personal customers and also Business customers if they’re using Business Internet Banking only.
