Without an ability to simply "download" this app is almost entirely pointless

Hello, I was super happy with this product too until the last few days. For a little 2 weeks, I have also not been able to access my cloud (wdmycloud) from my application (I even tried on the internet) on my laptop. It tells me that my NAS device is off, which is absolutely not the case, because I can still access it from my computer and my TV (by vlc) since 1 new update of the application. I tried everything with the site's troubleshooting tutorials.

If i use the app to save a file to my phone, it gives the file a randomised name.

Unfortunately, the app is only partially usable on mobile phones and is rubbish for my purposes. You can use it to connect to the NAS, but only display or edit certain content. For example: There is an Excel file (XLSX) on the NAS, but when I want to open it, the installed apps (such as Microsoft Office or Google Sheets) are not even offered. Instead, I get a list of apps that have nothing to do with Excel files (???). Therefore: rubbish

Update 21.1.25 now I can't even access my folders with this app. Third-party programs work. No more WD. Update 16.10.21: It's getting worse and worse. Now I can't even download a song. Where is this crappy support? WD is so bad. I've had a NAS from Synology for years. Works great. But the cloud mirror. Really bad. Since the big update to OS5 came out, you can't download entire folders.

It's a shame that in the photo section you can't have the contents played automatically.

No longer usable since the last update. I can no longer log in. So useless from now on. The error message after attempting to log in is so general that it could mean anything. The help page is just as useless. What a pity.
