Unwanted communications
Take out RAC cover and download this app. Great when you break down. I have set notifications not to receive by any method and get at least one message every day about offers. I don't want these and cannot stop then. I will NOT be renewing.

Service
I have RAC breakdown through my bank. So it was after a time I used them. So by accident I hit curb and 2 of my tyres got punctures. I called RAC at 8pm and waited for them to come for 2hrs then I at 10pm I got a call from the towing company saying they have no eta so please make your way home and they will sort out collection. It was next at 10am I got call to say they coming to collect the car. I spoke to 4-5 different people and all saying different on what the policy covers. I would check your policy first on what is covers specially if you have from bank.

Not good for removing old details
Thankfully I've not had to use the app for a breakdown. However, on purchasing a new vehicle and selling the previous one, it isn't possible to delete the no-longer-wanted details of the old vehicle. Irritating detail, and given the rate at which people change their car, a bit surprising.

Not acceptable!
My wife's car broke down yesterday afternoon. I called the Rac at around 3 o'clock. they eventually turned up around 7:30. I explained in the note that she had a baby with her in the car wouldn't start. I'm sorry but 4 1/2 hours with the baby in the car is not acceptable. I have been a member of the Rac for about six months I do a lot of work on th road and I needed to call them out to my commercial vehicle two or three each time it's 4-5-6 hours to Get someone out of here that's not acceptable either a friend of mine the other night I he waited for 14 hours to be rescued. Fortunately, he didn't have a baby in the car. I will be cancelling my policy on Monday and going back to The AA.

Terrible service, I do not recommend it. I have been waiting for a repair, a simple tire change for more than 12 hours.

Poor service
Currently very unhappy after waiting 51 hours to receive service from the RAC and a very poor reply to my complaint that I found insulting. Shame it won't let me give zero stars

Useless for motorcycles
My motorcycle policy details disappeared from App. Phoned RAC and told that policy will not show up on App. What's the point? Update seems to have stopped motorcycle policy's from using the App.
