Why
A daily non message from rac I do not need. If I get a notification of something relevant, fine, but up comes a notification. Open app and what??? I have twice deleted the app and cancelled notifications but like war of the worlds “ still they come” Pack it in!!! After reinstalling it for the 3rd time notifications appear to have stopped but I may now never get real notifications.

Site functions fail
Whilst adding vehicles is easy, removing them is a painful failure, time I will not get back in my life.

Unable to complete registration. I get the secure link via email which then takes me to another page to login. But when I click this link it doesn't work. I have tried several times now and still can't setup the app.

When I try to add my vehicle details into the "my vehicle section" of the app it just keeps saying "internal server error" Can you please get this sorted - thank you

Very disappointed with time scales. It eventually took for a 25 mile recovery 6 hours. I had been told at the most 3 hours. I was given the option for a taxi home but my passenger had to stay with the car. After nearly 3 hours I phoned them to be told that it would be 6 hours before someone could get to the car. I had to argue it down so it was then changed to 4½ hours before a contractor picked the car up. Following day an RAC van came to my home. This was all because of a puncture!!!

Absolutely DISGUSTED with RAC customer services
Only one star because I couldn't give ZERO An RAC person came out to assist, identified spark plugs, changed them and scooted off. Next day engine light appears. Called RAC, different guy who found that the previous guy had damaged a pipe that cost a total of £850 to repair. 2nd guy showed me the first guy had tried to glue the part. He rang his manager who confirmed they would pay for the damage and gave me the email address. Anyway after 8 weeks it wasn't resolved. I had to chase and chase for responses to be give a pathetic excuse that they won't pay. I asked them to look into again and they just wrote back saying no, this is our final decision, directed me to some alternative resolution services. I am completely and utterly speechless that in this day and age they are just shutting it down without any further consideration. It is disgusting and their lack of interest in my complaint is blatant in their responses.

When one logs on to my RAC online it says you can access your policy documents However when I do I am simply directed to the app which does not give details of all persons covered

Telephone assistance very helpful. Text updating service linked to incorrect ETA & mechanic contact number. Disappointed at 6hr wait time for mechanic to attend! Arrived just after 3am! No fault of his whatsoever, he was diverted out of his area to attend my call out. Seems to be a lack of crew, surprising for such a well-known company. The mechanic who eventually attended was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, considerate. Couldn't fault his service. RAC - please expand your crew numbers
