Very bad customer sevice, you will simply get a chain of wrong guidance and when you try to fix this, you will be delt as you are the one with fault, that's if you are lucky and the person on chat was happy to help with your enquiry.

Overzealous security
I do nearly all my banking on my iPhone. On Thursday I wanted to make a large payment for the setting up of PV solar panels, a solar battery and electric hot water. This required changing my daily limit, the NAB instructions did not make any sense and it took me half an hour to realise that this could not be done through the iPhone app for NAB. I had to log on to my account through the internet requiring me to give username and password. I like to see passwords when I enter them but oh so clever Apple was autocorrecting the password I was attempting to input. This caused delays and I assume suspicion on behalf of NAB that I might be a fraudster. I was interrogated fairly intensively, was referred to the fraud squad and forced to change my password. I was trying to make my payment to a large company who were also a client of the NAB — that should have suggested that this was a normal type of transaction and commonly significant sums would be involved. Setting up a safe new complex password was not a simple exercise and I felt I had to photograph it and write it down — potentially putting my security at risk. In logging on I continued to have problems with Apple's autocorrect causing delays and forced log offs. Eventually I realised that the best way to defeat autocorrect was to input passwords blindly. This whole process took two hours. I am generally fairly good in this digital world despite being 79 years old although I do have higher qualifications in the mathematical sciences. What did make this exercise harder mentally was the fact that I have been dealing digitally with Solar Victoria, our local Council, and assisting a friend in a complex situation apply for the aged pension in a relatively short time frame. I found this experience with the NAB to be quite frightening and has affected me mentally for a few days. There have to be better ways of doing things if we want people to embrace this digital world. I thought doing my banking through my iPhone was safe as it used facial recognition. It should have been possible to change my daily limit through the app. The NAB should have taken into account that this was an attempted transaction with another client of theirs, and quite a substantial one. I should mention that some time ago I was saved by the NAB from a fraudulent transaction and they were certainly on the ball with that one.

Waiting for Widget?
Still waiting for a widget to view balances when iPhone is locked? This update came out a month ago. Frustrated having to unlock and swipe to balance on the NAB app.

NAB Widget
I love the NAB app, it was 5 stars but slipped to 4 stars after ios18 update and the very handy and great feature, the NAB widget disappeared. Please, please, please make the nab app great again and support the NAB widget on iOS 18.

My account was blocked when trying to process a payment. Now not sure if due to weak phone security, or excessive invasive methods that compromise apps like this but definitely an issue when you cant process payment. Only thing now to learn is if it was due to external influences ie possible trolls using my phone thus compromising my account security or just the app flagging a payment but a definite thumbs down for now. Also the tell us more options was continuously loading so add these here...
