Terrible, the app has no instructions on how to do anything. I'm over 60 and don't have knowledge of Android phones. This app assumes you do!

Paid the fee of £30 down loaded a photo and it was accepted checked the railcard and there was no photo! what do I do? The photo is now up and in place - thank you for asking. x

If you buy your railcard on this app, you will not be able to add it to your apple or google phone wallet. You will have to use the app, you cannot take a screenshot so if the app does not work you are stuck. There is already a photo on the rail card to stop someone else from using it so stopping you copy it is excessive and more inconvenient than any potentially added security is worth. The purchasing process is also poorly designed, you can buy most things of similar value with two clicks and stay in browser or app, but this requires you to purchase it, wait for an email (10 mins), then download the app, find a code buried in the text of the email (why is it not in big bright letters like any other email that's only job is to give you a code?) and enter it into the app. It is not hard to buy or use just poorly designed so irritates me that several professionals worked on this for probably quite a while and decided ‘to hell with it' this will do. Take a note out of the Oyster card book, make it simple to buy and use and available in your phone wallet.

I can't take a screenshot as back up in case I can't access the app. I don't trust the technology. Also it's a two together Railcard and I want my companion to have a copy on her phone in case mine gets lost/broke/stolen.

This is not intuitive, took several attempts to update my renewal

Unclear how to renew rather than purchase and apply for a new pass. Not accessible to those with certain disabilities

can't give it zero, sadly. Waste of space on my phone. It took me 36 hours to get my digital railcard on this app. I'm amazed I managed that, as it generally just sits there with the "circle of death" before it times me out and just raises my blood pressure.
