My go-to for ideas, app needs work
Recipes are great. Contributors are great. BUT PLEASE!the new format for printing out recipes takes too many pages!! What used to only take one page takes two, three, or more pages. The title of the recipe, instead of being one or two lines is three, four, five or more lines. Instead of the contributor name, time, and yield all being on one line, it's three—add a lengthy introduction, it's half a page or more! It doesn't do any good shrinking the output if the type is no longer readable. Save some wasted paper and trees!

Won’t print properly, otherwise great
I just bought a new HP OJ 9120e printer and the app crops off the bottoms and tops of pages that I print from this app on my iPad. I spent hours with HP tech support and, since the printer works properly from other sites and apps, they say the problem is with the iPad app. In fact, this app prints properly from my iPhone. I thought there might be a setting for margins on the printer that could be adjusted but they say there isn't. I have tried adjusting the scaling from the print preview screen but that doesn't help. NYT: any ideas? Update: I've reached out by email and through the app to NYTimes customer care. No reply so far. I tried by phone first but they said this problem is beyond phone support.

This was my fav app until today when it started playing ads. I do pay for the app so this is confusing. Very disappointed

this app has now been inundated with silly videos or cooking, I just need recipes I don't need Tik Tok level engagement edit: I've been told I can turn off the auto play setting, the videos are still there and I have to scroll through several different sections to get to recipes. I pay a subscription for this app and just want to have access to great recipes. I don't need to see what a New York times chef is up to

Wish there was batch editing so I didn't have to sort recipes one by one. Also the system created folders in the recipe box don't show when sorting, only user defined folders.

The newly added videos don't add value and take up too much screen space. Definitely a step backwards.

Lots of recipes. It's gotten hard to find my shopping list. Can't edit the recipes.

Not enjoying the most recent update. This used to be such a nice, relaxing app, now it's full of reels and videos. I really hope they rethink the tiktoky update. Edit: I've read some responses to people with the same complaint. Autoplay is not the issue: a cluttered homescreen and irrelevant content is.
