Hoping for a change for the Nintendo Switch 2
When this application was announced years ago, I downloaded it and barely used it. Ended up deleting it within that week. Never saw the use of it. This could've been Nintendo's way of learning how to better the online system for the sequel console. They should go about it the way Sony and Microsoft do with their systems; implementing it WITHIN the console. The Switch 2 seems absolutely promising, but if Nintendo still uses this application for the next-gen console, online play won't go far at all for Nintendo.

Awful
This app hasn't been well utilised in its whole existence. It has a poor UI. You can't message your friends,send game invites, view game history or gameplay time,the “game services” have remained the same since its inception except the addition of splatoon 3 which is the only use for this thing. You also can't view in game events across any games unless they're the 4 games that are supported by the app.

I can't put it in even though the password is right. I wanted Splatoon's cat ears, but I was annoyed that I couldn't.

it's not as useful as I thought it'd be. I thought you could do data management, check current downloads, search the e-shop, etc. but it's basically a place where you just look at uploads of people playing Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros. or Splatoons.

The application is very slow. Delay in detecting if a friend is online or in a game. And this application is only useful for very few games, in addition to the fact that it only allows you to make calls if both players are playing the same game And while they are playing, if for some reason the internet goes out, it takes me out of the call. Very inefficient.
