this app shows false data. There isn't any one near my area willing to donate anything and it shows random dots on random spots saying there are people.

I never ever get notifications from the app about messages and it's causing issues when there's a collection. Please fix it!

Incompetent support refuse to remove a malicious rating (after they themselves quoted their own FAQ confirming that the rating isn't valid) purely because of what I said towards the rater out of frustration AFTER the rating had been left, so they are saying that his rating is now retroactively justified. I've never witnessed such stupidity in my life.

New update/interface not good
I've been using Olio for several years and thought it was a very good way to give/receive things for free in the local community. However this recent update now means that the home page is a lot harder to navigate/filter, and my listings (free) are now drowned out by people selling. What I loved about Olio previously was the aspect of giving/receiving things for free because you care about the community and want to reduce waste. Now, every single item I see is being sold (and these are overshadowing the free listings) and no longer differs to other platforms such as Marketplace.

Going downhill
Increased focus on “for sale” items and burying the free stuff so it now requires quite a lot of effort to find. We liked to use this app to find new home for our unwanted stuff, but are concerned that we may struggle to find people who want it as being able to search for free items by distance has become harder.

Great for clearing off boots boot with listing on selling apps, but notifications are terrible, they make so little sound you don't know that someone has messaged

The updated version is very complicated. I cannot use this app anymore. I have used it for more than 2 years, but it is not userfriendly anymore. It is shame we have to leave this beutifull community for an update, very sad.
