Pharmacy2U NHS Prescriptions - Latest Quality Issues

Garbage app, okay service
Once upon a time there was a wonderfully designed app for prescriptions called Echo made by people who actually knew what UX was and had some taste for decent, native iOS UI. That got bought by Lloyds and quality dropped a bit but it was still okay. Lloyds sold that to Pharmacy 2U who canned it and instead delivered this absolute shambles of an excuse for a user experience, shoddy build quality, and zero taste. The people who actually fulfil your orders once you've suffered through the ordering process are decent enough - so 1 star for actually doing the basics I guess - but as soon as I can find a well designed alternative I'll jump ship. Please; hire some designers with a modicum of talent, this seems like it's been designed by project managers and someone you hired from Fiverr. Awful.

Latest update poor
Since the latest update, I have to login with my details EVERY TIME I use the app. It doesn't remember my logging details, not even my email address and doesn't let you use Face ID or anything like that. It's a relatively small thing, but really frustrating for an app I have to use fairly regularly.

Poor app since update
The app is no longer as good. Email updates on prescription orders are sporadic and certainly not as instantaneous as they used to be. Can not see the order I placed this morning and no email confirming I did so several hours later. I went to Pharmacy2U as Lloyds were awful. Was hoping it wouldn't go the same way after Lloyds took over but fear the worst. Following a reply from the developer via Apple I rang the number they provided. Chat bot would not recognise any phrase to do with the app. After 4 or 5 attempts it offered me 5 options the only one which had any relevance was ‘customer services'. Clicked that and waited 8 mins before speaking to an advisor. Nice lady but all she wanted was the exact same info as I have already put on the original review above to be passed on to the development team, therefore wasting around 15 mins of my time.

Constant spam
Update: Still get unwanted emails. Really desperate to sell me medicine! And you can't unsubscribe because they ‘need to send you important messages'.

Switching to Pharmacy2U has been an absolute nightmare. The user interface is clunky and unintuitive—it's like they've made it deliberately difficult to use. Having to log in every single time is beyond frustrating, especially when I'm just trying to quickly manage my prescriptions. On top of that, the app doesn't even save my address, so I have to re-enter it for every single order. It's a time-wasting hassle that shouldn't even be an issue in 2025! And don't get me started on the pop-up ads.

Since last update, the app is extremely confusing. Whom has design this app should be fired.

Used the app for a few years. Since update it's horrendous. All you get is advertising and upselling. Can't find my order history, everything is a mess. I'll give it one month to correct then I'll be moving to another provider
