This is clickbait. There is no free tier, and you have to sign up and provide a lot of personal info / demographic data just to find out that the app is useless until you sign up for an expensive paid subscription. The experience really turned me off of Simon & Shuster products.

I like this app at the very beginning, but after 3-month learning, my learning progress is gone!!! And it showed the lessons are locked, man ...I've been paying for 3 months, and you just told me to pay again to unlock???? That's super insane....

It's a good app but there is js smt that I don't understand.
It's an amazing app, and is really helpful when it comes to learning your language. But why do you only get to one lesson before you have to pay for it? It's very good but that's what gets on my nerves; when apps make you get to a lesson then have tompay for the rest. I understand that you can't always get what you want in all, but why do I have to pay to learn a language. I just wish apps weren't like this. So greedy.

Script Needed
I think this is a fantastic app that that has really evolved my understanding of German; however, I wish the app provided a script of the lesson to further ingrain words and grammar points I was unable to catch during the audio listening. I found a workaround using an AI assisted transcribe service, but ultimately, I found this unnecessary as linq provides the scripted sessions already. With that said, thanks for the material and structure.

Great app, but needs one fix
I love the learning system. The app works very well, and I enjoy using it with Apple CarPlay on the road. The one thing that has to be fixed is the app not rotating to horizontal on tablets. If I want to use it on my tablet, it will only operate in a vertical format. This is very inconvenient, especially for an app that requires a monthly subscription, which I'm glad to pay. But please fix this issue immediately. Thank you!

Absolutely not for me
I can't learn a language just by listening and speaking. I need explanations. Just doesn't work for me at all. It's also just plain boring when compared to apps that use more gamification to make it fun.
