It’s a great way to start your day.
I would definitely give it 5 stars except for the irritating ads and where they are placed in the middle of a sermon.

Too many commercials!!!!!!
There are on average 6 commercials after or in the middle of a chapter. So disappointing!

so there's a catch here. I just tried to sign up with "Pray" and it asked me my real name and my phone number and wouldn't allow me to receive the app without that so it can message me or send me marketing ads which I don't care for telemarketing or marketing ads bugging me cuz I don't have any money. I just wanted the gospel read out loud to me so I don't have to read it but apparently I can't get that help now. thanks alot "Pray"...

I am not happy. I have been paying $50 for this app for quite a while. And I loved it. Used it a lot. Yes…. An occasional ad would pop up. But few and far between. The other night I upgraded my app and now all the sudden I am BOMBARDED with ads. I cannot enjoy the features without being blasted with ads. How am I supposed to relax and enjoy the meditations, the prayers, the music, the stories? Why did you allow so much advertising for a subscription? That is the whole point of a subscription to avoid ads. So then I go online to see if I can upgrade to a different level of subscription…. And then I see you have like 10 different options called “bible experience” and “premium”. Guess what? ….. some have different names, some say ad free and they are all still $50. What the heck is going on? Why am I paying $50 for one subscription when I see you can get an ad free experience for $50 as well? I know you are probably gonna respond and say “please email us with your concerns so we can address them” My experience with developers is that they never respond. So I prefer that if you choose to respond to my review….. I think it's only fair you do it right here on my review for everyone to see. Because it looks like many people are complaining about the same thing that I experienced recently with a whole swath of ads with the most recent update. You should have 2 options: Pay with no ads Free with ads If this does not change I'm deleting your app and will pay for another developer. There are plenty out there with a similar experience than yours.

Some tweaks need to be made
I love this app but I wish it didn't open and immediately start playing something I didn't choose. If I press pause it immediately will play something else and it causes me to lose my place.

Hard to navigate
I find this app hard to navigate. It might be just me, but I have favorites that I want to return to each day and it takes time for me to maneuver through everything so I end up starting a new program. However, all the programs are good.

I love the app
I only wish it kept a more accurate account of when I read my passages twice it took me back to day one and I never missed a single daily reading. There is know since in trying to help I have had this issue before I am on the app daily I just got back to 1000 I should be double that now for the streaks and using it

The ads are horrible!
I'm so I'd disappointed I have had this app for a few years and loved it, then all of a sudden all these ads are coming on ads for dating for curious people of the same sex. I am so disappointed in this app.
