Changes after signing documents
Progressive Insurance guarantees you a cost for insurance and later finds a way to increase your insurance, I sent them the requested information on the mileage, but still found a way to not accept what I sent after getting the information from their agents. So added $240.00 to my insurance telling me if I didn't the will cancel the insurance. All of this after paying in full when I got the car insurance.

Not happy
My six month premium figured out to be $1532 to pay in full. I was charged $1688 to pay in full. that was a overpayment of $156. I will be looking to change my insurance company ASAP over this blundering mistake by progressive.

Snapshot doesn’t work
No matter what I do no matter what support does, snapshot does not work on my iPhone. I don't know why that is and neither does support. I'm going to miss out on my snapshot discount because your app does not work properly.

a lot of times not accurate
We use this app for almost 2 years now without a lot of issues. However for the last 6 month it records situations that are not accurate. It has both my husband and myself driving at the same time, or it has one of us taking the bus. It also has me breaking hard just about every time I drive, which is also not correct . I believe they are doing this on purpose just to raise my rates. It's frustrating that it also shows phone use when I was parked in a parking lot. These issues need to be corrected.

Phantom Phone Use and Face ID Fail
The snap shot feature in the app detects phone use while I'm driving….except I'm not using my phone, so I'm not sure what that's about. I select the Face ID option when I launch the app and yet it doesn't default to login by Face ID. I still have to enter my password manually. The app overall is fine, but it definitely could use some improvement.

Useless!
This app may be acceptable (three stars??) for paying a bill or working with policy information, but it is generally useless when using the Progressive “Snapshot” app element. The app deserves no stars because of it's poor Snapshot functions. Sometimes the app thinks (properly) that I am a Snapshot user, other times I get a prompt asking “Set Up Snapshot.” Duh! And Snapshot often considers me to be driving when actually riding a CTA (Chicago) train. The app offers a four-day window where a user can change the trip designation, but unless the app is checked frequently, being assigned as “driver” stays. A recent round-trip by train was recorded as my driving, with heavy cell-phone use (I was using the phone…but not driving). It was beyond the four-day window when I noticed that incorrect designation, but a phone call to support did correct the problem. But the cell phone usage seems to remain and is affecting my account. While ALL actual driving trips have five stars, my “Overall” status shows only four stars…incorrect because of a poor driving report (cell phone usage) vs a public transportation designation. That is totally unacceptable. Good driving definitely can offer discounted policy premiums, but this app is totally useless in properly monitoring and recording driving. And (when) it mis-identifies a ride (a frequent occurrence) driving performance will be adversely affected. So what's the point?

Be careful with Progressive, after canceling my policy, I was left with a balance of $109 and despite having autopay it was not charged and they almost sent the charge to collection. The whole point of having self-pay is to avoid this. And I just asked the person who attended me if I would be charged from the self-pay and he said yes.
