I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Rent-A-Center. In October 2024, I received a used sectional covered in animal hair. Despite multiple calls and attempts to resolve the issue, it took three tries to get it properly cleaned. The first time, they sent someone with a vacuum cleaner, but it didn't solve the problem. I had an allergic reaction to the animal hair, and it took another call to get them to take further action. The second time, they used a special vacuum washer, but I was still experiencing itching from the furniture. It wasn't until the third attempt that they agreed to replace the furniture. To make matters worse, I was double-charged for the new furniture set. The communication at Rent-A-Center is abysmal. I've had to deal with multiple people, and each conversation has been a new exercise in frustration. It wasn't until four months into my rental that I was even told about the Rent-A-Center app. I've recorded multiple phone calls with various employees, and it's clear that there's a significant breakdown in communication among the staff. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I've received from Rent-A-Center, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The constant miscommunication, lack of accountability, and overall poor customer service have made my experience a nightmare.

The way corporate takes advantage of ALL employees is totally disrespectful. You provide an employee a schedule. For what I do not know. Employees are scheduled to store. AT 6, BUT STILL.WORKI.G AT 8:30. Overtime hours have been discontinued, but want people to work until 8-8:30. Patty, the DM, treats all the employees as if they're apw ill needs. They will call you multiple times in one day regardless that you've never been late on your payments, I swear they're like vultures almost as if they're scared they're gonna have to make the payments out of their personal paycheck.

Quality is not quite what you would find at real furniture stores electronics are lower grade devices and prices are not really reflecting the price of the merchandise. Good place if you're in a pinch though. That's about it.

Since renting to own from here, I haven't missed payments nor have I had any problems with my account. Because I ended the auto pay which Rent a Center charges for, I received an email reminder for a payment on March 01, 2025. Just a few minutes ago, a male from the local Rent a Center calls demanding payment today! I attempted to log into my account and my account has been disabled. Not trust worthy!
