The recording took more time to start than I expected and the doorbell only rang once in a while. I was notified by the landlord that I had to take it down. I gave it to a friend whose initial are AJ and she would like to activate both the doorbell and the interior camera. Thank you. Valerie Hardy 11/18/2024

A call does not arrive directly to the mobile phone when they touch the intercom (functionality that I mistakenly believed was included by default, it says "functionality blocked"), a notification arrives, which must be displayed, to be able to talk to whoever has called and to be able to open the assigned door. And the technical service, who attended me immediately, comes to the conclusion that it is my mobile phone that is wrong, since I receive the notifications but not the sound of them.

You will regret investing. The physical product is great; it's the app that NEVER works. YES my signal is great; the recording freezes the person passing by & never plays their entire action of what theyre doing. The loading wheel spins & spins, then you get freezing & zipping through the footage. The LIVE camera for viewing always cuts off after 60 seconds. The quality of picture is always fuzzy. Everything looks WHITE at night- yes, I have the settings set right. Zero security benefits .

The latest update is a welcomed one. Alerts via notifications are non stills, no need to enter the app for non important motion alerts :). However, important issues need addressing. The motion sensitivity needs bettering via a firnware update I believe. It does not register movement even when there is well within range. It is viral this is addressed as the intended use it to monitor visitors. Secondly, the speed of the app launching still needs improving, drastically.

Can't deactivate smart responses...The option can be toggled off and it says 'saved' but every time someone rings the bell the cheesy American voice returns. The app then shows the feature as being active. I don't want the American Barbie voice...it's embarrassing.

Horrible application for security ans safety. I recently moved into a new house and decided to get the ring camera system because we had old tenants come and filter through my mailbox for a few weeks. I tried to post it on the ring neighborhood app and they denied my submission. I put up decorations for Christmas and just had some lady steal one of the decorations off of my yard and tried to post asking if anyone knows this lady, and they denied my post again.
