Disappointed
Rocket Mortgage was a huge disappointment. Their advertising makes it seem like the process is simple and fast, but in reality, it was anything but. The communication was terrible, I had to call multiple times just to get basic updates, and different representatives kept giving me conflicting information.

Manipulation and lies
I was originally happy working with rocket mortgage until I was reached out to about a refinance deal. I had asked if it could be combined with the rate advantage program only to find out I'm not actually part of that program. When I purchased my home my rep told me several times if rates drop within three years I would be able to refinance with them at zero cost. This was a flat out lie!!! When I do refinance I won't be doing so with rocket mortgage.

Not able to access the app overseas
Unfortunately I travel a lot and when I try to access the app to make a payment when out of the country, I get an “Access Denied” error. I had to full the app using a VPN to make it believe I am in the US. Don't see why the app needs to be restricted to US soil only. It should work just like my banks apps do which work anywhere in the world.

Schwab customers, I strongly recommend to not even try a loan with Rocket Mortgage. They have one of the worst policy. Where do I start, I said that I am longterm customer of Schwab, with very good APR for margin loan etc, they said I am eligible for special treatment. Every response by schwab specialized agent took a week, ultimately I found their normal policy of using company equity doesn't work, and agent only gave loan amt 50% of my cash lol, BTW app doesn't work. AVOID ROCKET AT ANY COST
