Santander Mobile Banking - Latest Quality Issues
Android
Mar 1, 2025
The latest February 2025 update seems to have broken the ability to pay in cheques. Tried 2 different cheques and 2 different android phones, but every time now, I get a 'poor image quality' message. Prior to the Feb 2025 update, using the same background and android devices, we could pay in cheques fine.

Buggy of late.. Not sure what you've done to this app but since you've been fiddling about with it it throws a wobble about 50% of the time I use it.. Buttons don't render properly and text running horizontal down screen. Do you not test your releases? - thanks for your update Santander. My font size is bigger for good reason. Please test your releases for accessibility!!

STILL NO WIDGET. But I can see a randomly generated image briefly when I log in which is obviously far more useful.

Horrendous .. Tried to login and directed to install updated app. Clearly it needs much more memory as I had to uninstall some apps .. then half an hour to install and still spinning .. 1* (forced) is way over rating. Samsung Galaxy S9.

can't even update the app, luckily I no longer use this for my regular banking, only have two direct debits that I couldn't be bothered to move. I'll have to now. Shame as a customer for 30 years when it was known as Alliance and Leicester
