Sezzle - Buy Now, Pay Later - Latest Quality Issues

Signed up. Got a $100 limit. Loaded it to the Sezzle Virtual Card. Got the $25 taken from my account and approved the payment plan. I go to the application to make a purchase. I only applied because I saw stores like Target & Amazon. Stores I'd purchase from. But now that I'm approved, have the virtual card loaded with the $100 and a set up payment plan, I can not find Target!!! I only signed up to use Target! The only options I'm given is to buy from these stores I've never heard of!! AWFUL!!

Can’t Connect To A Real Agent
If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been trying to speak to someone for 49 hours about an issue with an incorrect refund amount. And have gotten no response. I've emailed, and have texted through the chat system multiple times and still have gotten nowhere with this issue. I placed an order through Amazon on the app, for an item and a protection plan for the item. I got an email saying my payment for the initial start of the payment plan went through for $65. Then I get a text the next day saying that my order was declined because I can only purchase “one item” per payment plan. I go on the app to see what is up, and I see that it's still showing that I have an order set up for a payment plan, and the payment schedule is proceeding as planned. So now I'm confused. I open a chat and start to contact a support agent and they tell me that it's going to show that everything is paid for for now but once the entire order is canceled then the amount of the refund will adjust and be posted. The agent kept saying for $24.99 (the price for the protection plan by itself). I continued to ask about the other $40 or more that I paid for this payment plan. I was told that I have to go through Amazon and cancel out the order entirely and once Sezzle is notified of the cancellation then the adjusted amount will be posted. So I go on Amazon and cancel everything (item and protection plan) and still nothing is updated. Til this point it's showing that I am only receiving a refund for the protection plan and not the item that came with it. And it's still showing that I have a payment plan set up with the dates of when the next payments are due as if nothing was canceled at all… I'm annoyed and frustrated by this, as I feel like I should have just stuck with Klarna and Afterpay. At this point I feel as though I won't even receive my refund. Don't waste your time with this app.

Customer service is nonexistent. You can't talk to anyone over the phone. I started using the app for discounts and payment options. My virtual card never works. My payments never go through with 5 cards on file. I've been told by employees via email that their system is HORRIBLE while responding to my complaints. I'm making this review after a payment was denied through 3 different cards with a positive balance. I just gave up after multiple attempts on each.

Massive Erroneous Fees
They would not allow me to change the card that was being charged, so they continued to get “failed payments” on a closed card… forcing 10$ each time the payment failed. I contacted them and they refused to do anything to help.

For being a big company it's ran like a joke. Glitches in the app and website by declining purchases because they can't identify you and when I spoke to premium support they said was a technical problem and couldn't do anything. I've made a purchase with them recently and I expressed I was happy and they refunded my premium fee and declined my y purchase even though I was approved a certain amount. STAY AWAY from SEZZLE it's a joke and they do what they want to their customers without notice.

the app itself is good, my only issue is if it's the day your payment is due and your payment method declines once, you're automatically charged a late fee, which isn't stated at all. you're not late until the day after your payment is due, so it makes no sense to add a fee when it's not actually late just cause it declined once. i've reached out about this but never received a response. so not the best costumer service either. but i dont think they've ever responded now that i think about it. you'll be fine if the money will be on your card when it tries charging you, but i use this app for a reason and get money from my job every day at 9:30 am or later, which they charge before that time.

Hard to earn credit with them, it's more easy with AFTERPAY I'm still at 300 with seezle and afterpay i'm already at 2,500 limit So sad its hard to gain credit with seezle even if we pay everything at the right time
