iOS app experience
I have used Shutterfly for several years. Always a good experience. This is the fist time I ordered Christmas cards on my iPad, using the iOS app. Slightly disappointing, because it bounced me out to the general shopping screen several times, between uploading photos and making choices. Other than that, still gets the job done.

Not sure how this has 5 stars
The delay, lags, and glitches despite doing all the app updates is just disappointing. I would give Shutterfly 5 stars but their apps, website and technology is barely a 3.

Christmas Card
I love the card design, but editing was a hassle. I struggled making edits. Edits didn't save and I had to keep redoing it. Hopefully, the cards turn out well.

App kept freezing on me.
While making holiday cards the app froze on my several times. I would definitely recommend using the actual website.

It was difficult.
I tried several times to edit the card I was trying to create. I had to re-enter the picture and text several times since I couldn't save or edit the card. The text is hard to read because the background is in the text. It was hard to change the text size and picture size without starting over.

Price changes in app
States, start at $0.78 each but is impossible to actually get that price on the cards. Spent hours on iPhone and iPad trying to no avail. Finally figured out the calendar issues.

👎 misleading pricing practices and unreasonably high shipping fees.
I recently ordered a customized photo product, and my experience was disappointing. The shipping fees were outrageously high. While the company promotes “free” products, it's clear that these costs are simply shifted to the shipping, which feels deceptive. You end up paying nearly as much (or more) than the original price through inflated shipping fees. There is a Lack of Transparency: The pricing strategy feels misleading, as the final cost is nowhere near what's advertised once you factor in the shipping. This hidden expense significantly diminishes the value of their so-called promotions.

Difficult to use on my phone and make edits and sizes I wanted . Quite frustrating.
