Takes weeks to withdrawal
On February 23, 2025, I signed up for the app Skrill because I wanted to compare its features to Venmo and PayPal. The app looked nice so I entered all of my personal information; name, address, phone number, email, social security number, debit card number, my bank account information. I easily transferred $10.00 from my debit card into my Skrill account. The transfer was instant and things were looking good.. I then explored the app more to see what features it had and the app was working perfect. However, when I tried to transfer the $10.00 that I put into my Skrill account back to the same debit card I used to deposit money, Skrill instantly restricted my account. This was still during the same session I started on February 23, 2025. I cannot log into the app now. I can't my account, only a screen that says my account is restricted. The only thing available for me to do is upload a photo ID. Skrill accepted a deposit from my debit card instantly without requiring any other information from me. They allowed deposit more money if I wanted to. The moment I tried to transfer the money back to my debit card, my account was instantly restricted. I uploaded my photo ID (my valid U.S. Driver's License). After doing so, nothing changed. The same screen continues to populate saying that my account is restricted and that I need to upload a photo ID. I searched the internet for their Customer Service phone number to unlock my account, and get my money back onto my debit card. The Agent I spoke with saw that I uploaded my Driver's License, but said he couldn't do anything to unlock my account. The Agent suggested uploading a selfie holding my ID from a browser on a desktop computer. Skrill is a phone app. I signed up on my phone, and deposited on my phone. I don't have a desktop computer. Desktop computers don't come with built in cameras, nor could I hold one to take a selfie. It is February 28, 2025 and nothing has changed. Skrill has all of my personal info.

They don't respond to emails, they don't help. Worst service in the world. I don't recommend it.

Worst banking app I've ever used. I made a transfer of 200 reais more than 2 months ago and it still hasn't appeared in my account, even though the data is correct. The fees are very high. That's why I now use another app that is a thousand times better than this one.

Everything is fine, but that application is terrible for data. It constantly says that the photo came out blurry when it clearly didn't and everything looks fine. In short, everything is fine except for the data validation, which is too bad.

Apparently everything seemed fine for simple deposit and withdrawal operations, until the moment I requested the physical card. I paid the fee and it didn't arrive, when I complained, they cancelled the card. I requested another one again and paid the fee again, and it all repeats... It seems endlessly. They are not responsible for the mail service, but they also do not try to find out what might have gone wrong. The address in the profile is absolutely correct. It's a shame, because I even thought they had potential.
