Not being able to engage with the app. Stopped working after the update

Still a trash app! Terrible customer service! An agent basically put my phone number on a black list when I asked for my account to be deleted so I could recreate a new one. Instead they “disabled” it and made it so I can never have a sonic account again! Garbage garbage garbage!

I've been a loyal user of the Sonic app for years, so much so that my family buys me gift cards for holidays to support my habit. I've provided feedback in the past that the app should allow you to either combine gift card balances or use more than one gift card to pay - other apps do this quite successfully - which has been ignored by the developer. After the big redesign and relaunch of the app last year, they pushed an update that caused some sort of glitch in my app and made it unusable. When I contacted support, I was told to uninstall and reinstall the app. I did so…and discovered that one of my gift cards that was previously loaded in the app no longer works. It has an $8.15 balance that I can't use, as it throws an error when I try to apply it to an order. I've reached out to support several times, with no resolution. Because the app's design is such that you can't combine gift card balances or use more than one to pay for an order, I have 4 other gift card balances under $1 - one is literally 4 cents. It used to be that you could use the app to pay when ordering at the stall; can't do that any longer. So, I now have $9.64 in gift card funds loaded in the app that I can't use. I can't load new cards because 5 is the max. Sonic got their money when the cards were purchased, but I can't apply the funds to my orders and they won't fix the error - I get the runaround from support. I consider that money stolen, as they are preventing me from using it to purchase goods. So, I've stopped using the app and I've stopped going to Sonic, and I won't resume either until they resolve my issue. Since contacting support is a waste of my time, I'm sharing my story here. My love of Sonic has morphed into disgust thanks to their terrible customer service and app development practices that have left nearly $10 in my account in limbo. No more little treats for me, I guess.

I placed my order, and then I had to opt out of 4 advertisements. Shouldn't have to endure advertisements when placing an online order.

The app is useless now. I live across the street from a sonic, and I got there a lot. But I have no credit card. So, I used the app to see when there were deals. Now, the app does not show the deals. I will no longer be using the Sonic app or be eating at a sonic location.

Horrible customer service. It's a dice roll you even get a helpful representative and once you do it takes days to even get a refund. I'm not even mad at the store for messing up my order, it happens no biggie. I'm mad at the horrible app wasting hours of my day trying to get a damn $7 refund. Don't get food here, just stick to drinks and shakes at this point

I've been having a lot of issues trying to order online. Sometimes I can get my order and sometimes I can't. This is so annoying. I can't tell you how many times that Sonic hasn't had orders from me.

I haven't been able to place an order successfully through this app in about a year. My wife has no problem on her app, but mine never works. I have since uninstalled the app, and I will not download it again for any reason.
