Updated bag policy
Just redeemed 10 years worth of points due to south west updating the 2 free checked bags policy. The service provided is just okay never phenomenal. There's no reason to fly with them going forward when they no longer have a competitive rate.

Southwest shot itself in the foot
I used to only fly southwest because I'm a poor college student. Too bad they got greedy. I'm not paying $125 for a checked bag. You KNOW it's bad when Spirit Airlines (with all of its hidden fees) ends up being cheaper. Never flying southwest again.

Can’t open app
App will not open. Was great before, but haven't been able to access it for a couple weeks. Very frustrating. Says “something went wrong. Please try again later “

Cannot login to app
Incredibly frustrated- every time I try to log into the Southwest app, I get the following error message: “Something went wrong, please try again later.” I have tried again later multiple times. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have rebooted my phone (iPhone 14 pro running iOS 18.3.2) - nothing. Same error message every time. Login using a browser works fine.

Add to wallet doesn’t work
I've been a loyal user for years and this is the first time I got frustrated enough to write a review. Please fix this problem asap. I've tried both web and app and no luck for the past two days.

New App and New Southwest are terrible
Buggy new app, hard to use. You choose points and it defaults to cash. New schedules are awful. Pricing is higher, routing is inconvenient.
