DVR and list
I just replaced my DVR and now when I schedule a recording, it no longer allows you to add time to it. Many programs go over so they get cut off. Also, there is no list of recorded programs. You have to look on the DVR itself which is hard to do when you're not home. Update 1/23/25: The recorded list and ability to add time to the DVR is STILL MISSING!

Some scheduled recordings submitted through the app don't save or specific records in a series are skipped.

New glitch kicked me off app can't log back in. Can't use app isn't functioning. Cust serv no help disconnected ridiculous for what u pay.

AirPlay
Is there a reason it doesn't let me airplay to my Samsung smart tv? It always did in the past and all the sudden it's not. Airplay works on all other apps and with my tv. Suggestions???

Forced to update to keep using, now doesn’t work
I have been using the app with success, but was recently forced to update in order to keep using. I updates in the App Store and now I can no longer get any live tv. Other options or filters also don't work. It's just blank screens and no response when pressing options. This also isn't the first time and update has seemingly made the app unusable.

If you want to have to call in every month because your rate went up again then Spectrum is a good choice!!! They are the worst for increasing rates several times a year. It's a real chore keeping up with all their rate hikes!!!!

Amateur operation! Not worth the money!
Can't even publish a valid schedule! Had the 24 hours of Daytona published. Instead, they preempted the race with a church service. If I'm going give them the absurd amount of money I pay for this service, I expect a lot better service.

Missing some pretty basic features
The app does basically work in that it allows you to watch Spectrum TV if you have an account. However it is missing some basic features. For example I cannot type in a channel number. There is no next channel/previous channel option like a remote would have. You have to go to the Guide to change the channel. When I switched to the spectrum app, I was told it DVR would be the same as the physical DVR . With the app, I cannot pause live TV. With recorded shows when I fast forward or rewind, it does not show me a thumbnail of where I am in the video. That is a pretty basic feature. If Netflix, Amazon video, Paramount+, Max, Hulu, Apple TV, YouTube, Disney+, ESPN, and others support this sort of thing the spectrum app should support it.
