They took a lot of channels off the app
So what is the point of having an app if you have to be home to watch the channel. That case I would just watch on the tv smh. But if I am away from home I want to catch up on a game on a channel I subscribe too and it tells me to be home to watch it WTH

Spectrum tv app
While trying to download the app again, I was blocked & the app kept trying to force me to pay or add more payment options for them to take my money.

Video quality is terribly compressed. Missing many channels outside of home. Roku app is buggy
Too many password resets. Fix this! Needs KCOP, KTLA, KCAL, NBA TV, MLB TV out of home. Badly organized channel guide. Video is supposed to be 1080P but it's so badly compressed. Please improve video quality. Roku app home screen is buggy, selecting a shortcut often doesn't take you to the correct show or channel referenced by the shortcut. March Madness zone didn't have CBS games?!?!

Update, now working-New upgrade doesn't work at all on my iPad.

Need to add playback speed controls
Playback speed controls with the ability to watch content at 1.25 - 2 X the default playback speed need to be added to the Spectrum TV app. This review would be 5 stars if the controls existed.

Can’t show a scheduled time!
How amateur of an operation do you have to be, to routinely not show the scheduled programming at the scheduled time? I pay way too much money for this poor service!

Keeps crashing, but Great app
I use the app on Apple TV as my main means of watching television… lately (over the last week) I've noticed the app keeps crashing… after tuning a station the controls often freeze. And more recently it's been completely crashing.

Needs improvement
App is not great. Works in a pinch but not the best I've seen. When searching for programs or events, show me the channel number with the result first thing. Don't make me dig for it. When I set something to record remotely, allow me to see a list of what I have set to record so I know if there is a conflict and can confirm it actually worked. When I'm remote, let me change the channel on the tv for my elderly mom without having to be on her WiFi.

Always a problem logging in
UPDATE 3-31-25: The “Spectrum Developer” is now spamming me 5x a day with an automated email message to contact tech support and to please change my review. There's no way to “unsubscribe” or turn that off. Problem is I did contact tech support multiple times a while back, and none of them were helpful. They just kept going over the same basic level troubleshooting that doesn't work. They won't let you speak with the app development folks, so the people us customers have to deal with are unqualified to give 2nd tier support for the app. Now that I've left feedback here, apparently they want to pester me to the point of wiping the negative review. Ponderous. —————- OP: Not once when I'm outside my home network does this app allow you to log in. There's always an error code and many times it then forces you to change your password, which is ridiculous. Fix your sign-in screen issues!!!
