a complete scam. beware you will pay twice if you use this fake app. paid in advance for parking, the parking garage had no reservation and don't know what spothero is. double and triple checked and confirmed everything was right, but the garage says take it up with spothero. a flat out scam that should not be allowed on play store. almost went to jail over this

I reserved a spot to find out at the parking lot it was full. There is no way in the app to get money back after this.

Useless people

I paid for a spot. Their app failed to save my license plate so I was towed. I called them for assistance and was not helped at all. I will be filing criminal charges for grand theft auto against this company and the tow company. I have used a half dozen different apps when my family travels and never had this problem or this poor of assistance with anything.

Careful: if a garage writes you a ticket for a reservation booked through Spothero, they won't have your back. I paid for a full day at a garage, but someone from Diamond Parking Services wrote me a ticket anyway. I sent the ticket to Spothero to ask for them to cover it. They took a week to get back to me. When they finally responded, they claimed they couldn't cover the ticket because my license plate number didn't match the ticket. But it did. Sent them proof it's right. Still waiting.

Great App for Thieves

Tried this app one weekend only. Car broken into second time I used it. They recommended a lot, we paid, and we parked in it from 6AM-11AM on a Saturday morning. Came back and back door window was broken out. 4 more cars in the same lot were also. When cops came they said this lot has no cameras so there are many break ins here every week. Never using Spot Hero again. They need to change the name for sure. Spot Nightmare would be more accurate.

SpotHero Failures

First lot I parked in Atlanta had car window busted out along with about 20 others. Would say it was one time event but could clearly see after looking around it was not. SpotHero is not looking out for you. Second lot I moved to booked for several days but found out they do not allow in and out of the parking lot. So even though I paid for multiple days after I left once it requires you to pay again. SpotHero is no Hero.

Ad notifications are disgusting

Using the notification system to push ads to use your app is ridiculous. Leads to a poor user experience, negative reviews, and provides absolutely no benefit. If I don't need to park, why would I launch your app!? Now I'll just delete it and redownload when needed!

used app for parking in Boston. parking garage was impossible to get into. could not be used, had to pay somewhere else to park. app refused refund. BEWARE!!!!
