Ok
I have used Starling Bank for a few years now. It's ok but I don't like the way that questions are forced on to people and unless you answer you can't access your bank. What does the bank need to know what I earn. What I spend it on and where it goes. That's my business. I have other bank accounts and none of them ask for this information randomly. I've not applied for credit so why the questions. I limit my Starling use now. Also £1000 cheque deposit isn't enough. Most other are upto £10000.

Excellent app except ….
I love this app, but I just wish it would load quicker from the beginning and display the passcode screen a lot faster. Other than that, no other issues 🙂

Used to be great
I've used Starling for a few years now since getting fed up with Natwest. Starling have been great until recently. They've previously paid interest on their current accounts and ‘spaces' but they're ending it Jan 2025 in favour of paying interest only on their ‘Easy Saver' space, but after applying for an Easy Saver I, like EVERYBODY I know who are in the same situation have had the Easy Saver application declined! I also tried to open a business account for my business but that was also declined. So, Mettle now have my business finances taken care of and my savings are in Chase. Monzo will soon be my replacement for Starling. Well done Starling! Great way to pee your customers off!

Awful
Been with starling before loved them. Try to return no. Try to open a sole trader account told no. Zero reason for a free business account poor

Asking for password
I know you need to re-certify someone's identity now and again, but why do I need to put a password in for an account I pay every month with a similar amount(it's a bill). This is dumb, please don't do this for these scenarios.
