Payments declined
We have had multiple Apple App Ads declined by Starling … they have repeatedly in the past said “it will be Apple”… just now they said ahhh that's our Fraud dept… WTF… bunch of kids running the show…

Don't value customers. A vending machine broke and didn't distribute my drink. I took a photo and gave evidence that goods are not as was described. They weren't interested in helping. That was only a 2-pound transaction, but if they won't help with the small issues, then they certainly won't help when someone takes a few thousand out of your account. Go with monza or someone who cares for you and your money. Also 5 star reviews are clearly paid for as there is alot of stuff they say isn't there

All I wanted was a account so I could spend money abroad. Won't even let me open an account, I was declined. I've never been declined by any bank. I've got a flawless history.

Unsuccessful application
I have been banking with Monzo for many years, thought I would open another savings account and instantly got rejected. No explanation, no reason. Think it's unacceptable.

I've now changed my review to 1 star. Having been with starling for over 4 years now and I wanted to move my business banking over to them for convenience. I was rejected. When I asked why, they told me that they can't tell me why. So they were happy to take all my data for the application but can't tell me why I wasn't allowed a business bank account. I've now closed my personal and joint account and will bank with Monzo for business and personal as they accepted me within 24 hours. Shame.
