Star Tracker - Mobile Sky Map - Latest Quality Issues

Extremely inaccurate for location and star positions. It was placing the star location over 30° off where they actually were at my location

No option to turn off overlays and pulsing graphics for every star. Might be suitable for younger users.

Pretty nice but you can't disable annoying animations

Get it right please. No matter how often I calibrate my phones (there have been several over the years) this app never shows anything where it should be, and almost never shows the directions at their true bearings. The most obvious body to find is the moon. I have to physically move the map on screen to find it in the app when my phone is pointed in that direction. This would be a cool app if it worked properly. And it's not the phones as the compass on them can always find true north.

This used to be a great app, but now it's full of bugs and glitches where it shudders on the screen constantly

All of the shiny animations are so cheap looking and there's no way to turn them off. If I'm looking at the night sky, I don't want my phone blinding me with a bunch of freaking cartoons lol. This thing is garbage.

It's been great for most of the time that I've used it, but recently the orientation's been way off. Anyone with similar problems and any way of fixing?

Tracking has some issues, so the map jumps around, which detracts from the experience. However, if I move the Phone oriention around a bit it seems to settle in the right position, at least temporarily. So it can be used, and the app has a beautiful design. If the jankines wasn't there this would be close to 5 stars. I have tried other apps that doesn't have this problem, so hopefully you can fix this.

Always seems to alert me when skies are overcast where I live and I can't see anything
