Outstanding Journal…Mediocre A.I
Honestly, I love this journal. It's helped me quiet me bit to journal over the past few weeks and I've loved all the prompts and the journal entry options it gives. What I am not a fan of is the A.I. it falls short. Using ChatGPT on the side is more helpful than this A.I. I got a student discount which was helpful but if I'm being honest it's NOT worth the $100 or $120 they often market it for. It'll give the same follow up questions over and over “What do you think is one small step….” Every A.I option inside the app will always ask this but with different words in front or after it. So, if you're trying this app use it for free or opt for just the premium membership. You honestly could just use ChatGPT to help with your journaling. It'll converse with you better than this A.I. This app is 10/10 for design and prompts. It'll take you from beginner journaler to pro. The A.I is 3/10.

Needs better UI, AI integration
At first, this was really impressive and the AI prompts made for better journaling. Eventually, the AI became repetitive and has a short memory (of one session or maybe just a day, at most). This makes the AI integration very lacking and, compared to the rapid improvement of AI, pretty outdated by now. You will have a richer experience simply pasting your journal entries into ChatGPT, which remembers you over days, and carrying on the conversation there. The UI could be vastly improved. The design logic isn't clear and I find my self searching and randomly coming across new techniques. It needs to be better organized and developers need to get rid of some very basic bugs that come up from time to time. Still, this is the only AI-integrated I know of at this scale. I just wish they made a better product. By the way, the app does not integrate Stoic principles that I can tell besides the morning or evening reflection, so don't come to it looking to apply Stoic principles to your life. Instead, it's a pretty good mental health journal that has some other techniques (e.g. breathing) that seem as if they were included more as an afterthought.

Used to be great, now cluttered
Used to be a beautiful minimalistic journaling app. Now it's covered with big buttons trying to sell you an AI subscription even if you already have the paid version of the app. Many people have complained about it, but the developers seem to completely ignore the feedback of their long time users. Sad to see a great app deteriorate like this.

Problems, problems, etc.
Unfortunately, despite purchasing the highest plan with Ai, the application very often claims that you have no tokens... The application itself is great, but what's the point if you can't use it fully - even though you paid for it... weak, really weak. The creators should work on it
