The most useless app
This app needs serious work, all I needed to do was contact member services for my ins. They don't have a number available the contact us section does not work. The technical team would not help me and my issues is still just going in circles. The company is wasting so much money on this useless app.

Terrible App, Worse Support
This is poorly developed application with numerous errors resulting in significant delays when loading pages as well as a deeply unconsidered user interface that creates confusion and does not quickly surface relevant information when needed. If Anthem Blue Cross + Blue Shield cares about mid-long term revenue growth, they will scrape this application completely and release a better product. Open enrollment is coming up and I will be switching providers because of this application and the trouble it has caused. Additionally, their live chat feature is not live chat, it is an AI bot which provides inaccurate information. Even after being transferred to a “live agent” and discussing diagnostic codes to confirm coverage, I was incorrectly billed for the entire $43,000 amount. The developers of this application should know that it is not functional or useful. The app frequently provided inaccurate information. I am deeply disappointed with this application. Lastly, if you read through the reviews, many appear to be purchased or from engagement farming as most of the recent review of this application are abysmal.

Confusing notifications, data, and customer service
The app has been updated so it's better, but the communications are confusing. I placed 1 order using the screen that shows 3 prescriptions available for refill, and I get 3 text messages thanking me for my refill request, 3 texts saying it's too early to refill, 2 saying the order (2 of 3 of the rxes I think? It's hard to tell in the app) is on the way, then 2 more saying an rx is ready for refill but not which one. Then I log in and see the refill which was too soon to order being in the “ready to refill” screen again so I place another order for 4 rxs and this time I get 3 emails at the same time saying they received my refill request, then 5 emails within 3 minutes with some duplicate and some conflicting information - some of the medication I ordered is again too early to refill but it's also on the way. Thankfully the emails contain the first three letters of the medication name unlike the texts. When I use the chat feature to talk to a pharmacist, they told me they are unable to look up my account and I need to make a phone call. Not calling. Similarly, when I messaged to follow up on a technical support problem (receiving USPS mail after opting in to electronic communications twice), the person said that I have reached the technical support helpdesk and that I need to make a phone call instead.

Empty promises
This whole app just promises a bunch of fantastical things and if you actually Try to use it, it will just spit out an endless list of “sorry, that's currently unavailable” “call member services during business hours” Not helpful.

Rewards button I’d gone
As of the latest update the button to redeem rewards is missing. If we don't use them by the end of the year, they are gone so we have very little time and now it's screwed up. The ‘help' chat had no idea and told me to call another number. What a waste of everyone's time.

Says I don’t exist
Every time I try to login through their website anthem blue cross blue shield I always get the same message at the top of the screen. Telling me my information is incorrect or try reloading the page yet I do that several times and still can't get anywhere then when I download the Sydney app I put all my information in reading off my insurance card yet they say I don't exist!!! This is getting very frustrating all I want to do is pay on my power account so I don't lose my insurance. Please any advice because i can't get ahold of anyone through phone or they don't speak English . Thank you in advance

Horrible as expected
Whenever healthcare pushes an app on me, I know it's going to be bad. This app has links to talk to support that do nothing, a virtual care button that leads to a blank screen, a 24/7 nurse button that leads only to info that I do have access to a 24/7 nurse line but no number or possible way to contact them. I'm sure someone is making millions of dollars on this contract with Anthem while us customers get a barely functioning app in return. I'd rather do everything on the website than use this.

No medicare policy support.
Was told chat does not support medicare plans, call them. App is useless for Medicare Plan-G! Lied to by support. Live chat failing. Your agents have lied to me since I started trying to get to live chat on January 4. I was told nothing was wrong on your site. I was told it had to be something I was doing or my computer was causing the problem. Today I got a live agent. She told me live chat had been down since first week of January. Lying to your customers is not a great way to make a first impression. Unacceptable. I have zero trust in anthem and will question absolutely everthing.
