I love the comics and novels and I want to support the authors. But Tapas makes it harder and harder to get free ink.

Its a really good app but the fact that you need to use ink every time is annoying i think ok they want money ok but do ads cus me personally, I don't like the ink system

Not connecting
Tapas was great, but now when I open it it just says it's not able to connect to the network. I've checked my internet, shut down the app, and switched to data but it still shows the same message. Really hope they fix this issue with the next update😔

With most comics you have to wait a long time or pay a lot after a few chapters. It's a waste of time

Can’t close the shop
When accidentally opening the shop it's impossible to close it without exiting the app unless you purchase something. I'm pretty sure there are some issues with legality regarding this and frankly it's a pathetic business practice. If they don't fix it I'll likely stop using the app. And this being from someone who regularly does purchase ink.

This is still my favorite app to use for reading, but there are some objective problems. People are upset about events, and I support those people. But the app itself isn't perfect. It uses a lot of battery, I don't know why. I've had full 3D games take less than reading here. So you'll want to close it in the background when you're not using it, yeah? Well then, the app stops sending you notifications about your free chapters being ready. They all pop up when you reopen the app. So, yeah.
