Uninstalled and Deleted

I used to love Target and the pick up shopping service until they reversed their DEI policy. Truly disgusting and cowardly behavior. I have uninstalled the app and deleted my account and personal information.

Recent app problems

Deteriorating. Used to be one of the very best shopping apps out there. Lately, search results are more like what you get on Amazon (the company that repeatedly drives me to Target and other retailers). Annoying shill popups have to be tapped through for every single item you add to your cart. And now, since last update, item reviews will not load at all—it just spins and spins. So frustrating. Still prefer Target to Amazon or Walmart, but these app issues make it a lot harder to love 🎯. Hope they get these issues resolved so I can come back and reinstate my five-star review.

DEI FAILURE

The only reason I made a purchase today is because I had points that we're going to expire and a five dollar gift card from previous shopping. I did my best to make purchases from Bipoc businesses. I was able to get a free item due to a coupon and used my credit card for the final $.90 of my purchase so you have to pick up the credit card fee. My disappointment in target is tremendous. Remember when you took advantage of George Floyd's murder to make customers believe that you cared? It has not been a problem to completely avoid shopping with this discriminatory and capitulating business. Shame on you.

DEI Rollbacks, what a shame

I used to shop here all the time for my odds and ends, but seeing a more “progressive” business take back one of the things that made it unique was just disappointing and too far. Target leadership should honestly be ashamed of themselves for thinking I would choose them over people's livelihoods. We've noticed you upping prices and locking everyday items behind plexiglass. It's gross and just rude to your customer base. Bring back regular shopping smh

BONUS BAITING

I never got my gift cards that I made with QUALIFIED purchases. Target survey I filled out on receipt and self checkout is another hurdle where gift cards for qualified purchases aren't shown either. Guest Relations is of no help and calling for the individual's who replied to email NO SINCERE which make me feel like a victim feeling bait and switch when I tried Activated Bonus of which I did before my trip! I have the receipt as a REMINDER to shop LESS!!!!!n 2025 I intend to AVOID ACTIVE BONUS SECTION BECAUSE THE STORE MANAGERS ARE NEVER AVAILABLE TO HONOR WHAT THE SURVEY ON RECEIPT STATED WHEN THE STORE LOCATION REPLIED DECEITFUL STILL I WILL NOT spend a lot like I did last year LESSONS LEARNED AND I WILL NEVER AND NO LONGER RECOMMEND TO OTHERS!

They roled back DEI initiatives, and are now taking it out on employees by taking away their bonuses. But the CEO definitely didn't get a paycut. I recommend Costco

I order last night getting the promotion on the toys yet they send message saying out of stock my whole thing was to get those Mario karts now have to order online and pay same price lost the $5 gift card so useless service
