Basic error
Can not book a task in London if abroad - should have capacity to write relevant task address instead of trying to locate one in geographical area where you do not operate.

Tried booking 7 electricians through this app, everyone cancelled last minute. Also there is no way to review the technician in the app if the task gets cancelled, so technician takes advantage of this freehand. wasted 2 of my days waiting for the technician to come, will never rely on this app again.

Be aware of steep administrative costs
Just stated using TaskRabbit. Thought the hourly rate I saw reasonable for the work I wanted done. Then came the invoice with added administrative charges that bumped costs ip 40%. These terms are DEEPLY hidden in the process of signing up and booking work. I feel quite burned by the experience. The work done was great, but the upcharge was atrocious. I am unlikely to ever again use TaskRabbit.

This app XUX!!!
No body is serious in this app, they cancel last minute, or just dont show up .. if they do .. they show up late On top on that the rates are $40 per hr. Joke!!

Biased app
This app used to give you options to choose your tasker and gave an bio on the tasker to ensure needs were met. Now the app claims you get to select a tasker but it's automatically selected based off of their recommendations. Their recommendations seemed bias and not based off of customer reviews and experience. Will not be using again until this feature is corrected.

Takers accept jobs then no show, reschedule or cancel
I downloaded this app to hire someone to wallpaper a wall in my daughter's room. The first attempt was Jacob. After Jacob accepted the task he asked if I could change the date and time. I agreed. He then asked if we could move the day and time again. I disagreed. I asked if he did not want the job to tell me now so I would have time to hire someone else. He stated the job would get done. Day of the scheduled appointment and no show, and crickets when any attempt to contact him is made. I then “hired” Ryan. Ryan accepted the job, no issues with date and time. Day of the scheduled appointment, I get a text 5-10 minutes before he's supposed to be there stating he is still on another job and can we reschedule. Any communication from me is again met with….crickets. I realize my task was small, maybe not worth the time for the money. If so, why accept the job in the first place and then waste my time. Will not use the app again.

do not use this app.
booked a task for for 9:30. tasker contacted and rescheduled for the next day at 4:30. At 5:55, more than an hour later, i cancelled after no call/bo show. terms clearly state no fee will be charged if tasker is no show. contacted customer service and reached “dane” who was completely rude and incompetent by telling me to read the terms but only copying the first two bullet points, not the one referencing a tasker not showing up. dane then disconnected the chat. i have contacted my state's consumer department about this. this app is fraud and was a complete wash on my entire saturday.

Although the app is fine, there are problems for Taskers to see the images, so I only give it two stars for that reason.

Bad service!! They had to come and assemble some Ikea furniture, they kept postponing the appointment three times.... In the end we assembled ourselves... veramnete unreliable service and non-existent customer service ...
