The app wants to be awesome...but it's majorly held back by poorly performing underlying infrastructure. Pros: The ability to locate items within any given store is particularly useful. Cons: Backend and database performance is terrible. Response times for queries can be measured in the tens of seconds, which was fine 25 years ago in the modem days; but today it speaks of a lack of backend prioritization and a mountain of unaddressed tech debt.

This so called app is slow, glitchy, and will make you want to pull your hair out. I don't even like going to the store, but I had to, and I used the app to try and find a product. Where the app said it was, didn't even match the aisle numbers. I asked an employee for help and she had a hard time reading the store map. The store aisles are set up numericaly and the app shows aisles as letters. I might write off Home Depot completely and stick with Lowes.

app and UI design are fine - fairly standard ecomm stuff - but it takes FOREVER to load anything. My phone's running fine, and other apps load quickly, so I know it's not my connection or hardware, but searches, taps, field selection/fills, and submissions take way too long. Sometimes, searches don't yield any results because they time out. Selections take so long you'll end up selecting again. By the time the first tap loads, you'll find yourself on the wrong page due to the double tap.
