DO NOT SELL WITH THEM!!!! I sent in a bag full of EXTREMELY expensive items and got $1.03 payout on a custom made hoodie brand new! They take a HUGE percentage and list items for DIRT DIRT cheap! I'm PISSED!!! If I would've known I NEVER would've sent the items!

Good for shopping NOT for selling
They take forever to process items sent in to them for sale. Then they don't make it straightforward enough to tell you that most items won't sell, that is supposedly. How are you as the consumer about to track what they actually do with your items? After you wait over month for processing then they say your items are gonna get donated as if they are doing you a favor, when YOU PAID THEM!

App crashes when I go to check my clean outs on my android. It has been doing this for months. Additionally, even if you send in something brand new, you may not get paid for an item you are trying to sell because Thread up says that the price isn't worth their processing. This seems off because they still list the item, so they make money, of course, and the item they refused to pay me for was priced higher than items they agreed to pay me for. I say only shop from Thread up, don't sell

ThredUP app needs work
1. Customer service is bot only. BOTs are limited in what they can do for you. No option to discuss your issue with real person. ThredUP saving $$ this way is foolish to build customer loyalty. 2. When selling your items to ThredUP (the backbone of the supply chain) the seller is very limited as to what they are allowed to edit to either enhance their listing or correct errors of original listing. 3. Site is awkward to navigate around. Needs a complete redesign to be more user friendly. Example: being able to return to a previous page. I've had to close the app and relaunch just to get off the seller's page.

Filters don’t work
Size and condition filters do not work. If I check only excellent condition, I am shown very good as well. I select large, I am shown large AND medium. This seems very basic, and deters me from wanting to browse.

Love the option but the app is terrible
I spend a lot of money on ThredUp, as I don't like to spend a lot of money on clothes and I don't like the styles in stores now. The concept of ThredUp is awesome but the app is awful. When you search, the filter options are very limited and don't even work half of the time. There are no counters, so you have no idea if you have 30 options to look through in your selected search, or 30,000. You will very often see the EXACT same items over and over and OVER again in your search, making you wonder if you've just wasted a bunch of time looking at an endless loop of the same items. Showing items that are already in someone's cart is just rude. If you find something that is a “flawed gem”, it doesn't show in the photo what the flaw is, and they're always final sale so you take a big risk buying something that might have a deal breaker flaw. Also the presentation of the clothing is often just terrible, wrinkled, disheveled and/or misleading. Edit: The canned AI response to my review really says it all. Yes, as stated, I've done all of those things, they are not very effective. Hopefully a real person sees this and it helps with improvements.

Search glitches
This company and app used to be fantastic but my saved searches keep returning sizes that aren't listed in my search criteria. It repeats items many times and ignores my material preferences. I select cotton and cotton blends and it still shows me 100% polyester items. Getting really frustrating to scroll and find what I'm looking for when the search ignores what I ask of it.

I was so excited to earn some money from my brand name and great quality clothing that have just been hanging in my closet….unfortunately the “clean out bag” itself is $15 plus “processing fees”. By the time they get the clothes put up for sale they are listed way more than a “thrifting” price. BUT the kicker is you receive about 1/8 of the profit!! I had a shirt sale for $18 and received 74 CENTS!!!! The best quality items I sent in were not even profitable?? So are they just selling them for theirselves? Where does the profit from those items go?? To sum it up, you pay THEM to sale YOUR clothes and not receive nearly enough what they are worth. Wish I would've read the reviews before selling with this app, not worth the disappointment or headache.
