SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! they charge you $50 just for someone's "click." That someone can "click" on a dozen other companies just for fun. I'm pretty sure the same folks from Thumbtack are sitting in the room next door clicking on your listings, and your account gets charged.

Thumbtack makes the money!!! It's crazy the amount you are charged just for a lead. It's unreal that people trying to find work have to pay such high prices. Once you figure in your gas, time and work you really are not making anything. Totally disagree with the entire app. I've tried contacting support 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear back from anyone. I have done no work and asked to be removed yet I'm still being charged for leads and jobs I've not even completed. I want to work to make money

Very Expensive
They are very expensive. You end up not making anything and losing a lot of money. Only being on the app two weeks and I have lost over $8,500 and not gotten much or anything at all from it. Currently exploring other options. They are not helping pros. In fact, they don't care so long as they make money.

Lead prices are so expensive and you're competing with other pros. So if you don't offer the lowest bid fast enough, it's gone and you lose money. Zero refunds no matter the circumstances.

They take money from you before you realize it and then tell you the lead was a scamm and then not refund you your money.. Then you try to reach out to them, and their system is down With no way to get in touch with them !!!!!
