Slow app
App half works takes forever to load and internet speeds are mid at best customer and technical support not much better

Terrible start up screen
Starting up the app it is so bright and ugly and you're forced to stare at it in order to unlock with Face ID. There needs to be an option to turn this off (or just get rid of it all together and replace it with a black screen and a small T-Mobile logo). Other than that… the functionality is pretty good. Not a fan of all the discount junk, but it's a good phone service and app otherwise. This startup screen thing has just been bugging me for too long :P Note to T-Mobile: Tried to write this directly to app support, but it was a long complicated maze to get it so I'm writing it here.

App is Annoying
Since the T-mobile original app moved over to T-Life it's been a constant headache. Whenever I go to open the app it tells me it needs to be updated (Even though the update was already done) when I go to update it, it just says open. It does this every single time…I open app, hit update, takes me to App Store, just for me to hit open and it takes me back to the original app. It's annoying and so frustrating.

Hard to access on low data while traveling
This new app makes adding and viewing international data add-ons very difficult. They're hidden several pages deep and take a lot of clicks to get to, each of which involves loading a page and using data, which is artificially slowed until I've managed to access and add-on the package I'm looking for. When I'm paying by the day and traveling 8-20 hours to get to an international destination, I'm not going to add the package before my flight, meaning I have to try to add it using 2G speeds or unreliable airport WiFi once I've landed. This is very frustrating — if the app even loads at all. Sometimes it's just endlessly stuck on the hot pink splash screen, even when I force quit and try to reopen. Since T-Mobile is the one doing the data-limiting, it should bypass this speed limit for loading its own app! Ditto the data limit for checking how much data is left in an in-use international package. The app also won't open if you're connected to a vpn, meaning that if I'm traveling and on public wifi, I have to disconnect from wifi, disconnect from vpn, then hope it loads on roaming cell data. Extremely frustrating all around when traveling! Also it's really hard to remember that it's called T-life now — when using app search, I can never find it because I'm still trying to type “T-Mobile”. All these issues with the new app aside, for the actual cell service, coverage, and plans available, I genuinely like T-mobile! This new app is very buggy and frustrating though.

Poor customer service
Worst customer service ever. I have a business account and I get run around like never before. I called the company and it took 40 minutes before anyone picked up the phone. Then the customer service rep keeps muting the phone everytime I talk. Then she keeps asking me questions that I already answered. Then more run around. Now she's telling me that I have to go to the local T Mobile office. The local office told me prior that since I have a business line that I'll have to call it in to the business line. The issue that I'm having is that I disconnected three lines over a year ago and T Mobile has turned them back on and are now charging me for four lines. Now she's saying that she can't help me with a pin reset but that the rep that answered me initially is the person that could've. My case was escalated. How is it that the lower division can help but that the higher one can't !!

Worst app ever
T-Life is a maze of nonsense. I liked the old app. It worked. T-Life is a billboard of ads. Hate it with a passion.

Scam Shield
Since the integration of Scam Shield into T-Life, I haven't been able to find Scam Shield. Supposedly it's under the “Manage” tab, but there's no Manage tab. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times to no avail.
