Love it! Just missing a couple of features…
So far I have really love the simplicity of the app and how easily it pulls all of your plans into one place. What I'd really love to bring it from good to great is a couple of added features: 1. Pre trip checklist/packing list - many of us are probably using a packing list elsewhere. It would be great to see that functionality added to the app 2. Ability to upload photos to the important travel docs - we already have the ability to add photos/files to items in our itinerary. I'd love to be able to upload photos of my passport, travel consent forms, birth certificates, etc to the important travel docs section vs only being able to input and store their details With the additional features I think TripIt could be a one stop shop for travel planning and I'd gladly pay an annual fee for it.

Poor
TripIt demands access to email - then proceeds to scan only top Inbox items and is too dumb to scan sub-folders. This is an app for generic travelers who don't lift a finger to organize anything themselves.

Pro doesn’t work
Not a very intuitive app. Point tracker doesn't work. Sync doesn't work. Prover stays on. A waste of money.

A must have travel app
Long time user (10+ years) this app is a must have for planning any trip. My 3 stars is in the hopes that the app improves - taking advantage of Ai to better read extract booking information from emails to populate entries automatically. I'm having to manually enter most entries which is frustrating when you can see the information is contained within the email. It's also frustrating that attachments from booking aren't just auto-added to itineraries.

Tripit is unbelievable but…
I know why this happens. You need to kiss up to google. It's transparent. Unfortunately, I, and a lot of others use Mac's and iOS…and Apple CarPlay. EVERY TIME you do an update you reset the preference for google maps or…not. When I'm slamming down the highway at 70 mph, it's not a good time to realize that, and attempt to correct, that my hotel directions are not running through Apple Maps and Apple CarPlay. This is a safety issue that I think nhtsa might even want to know about. You could easily include this preference in the same setup file that my other preferences are stored in. Thanks

Where do they get their flight info from? It is so out of date which makes this app utterly useless now.
