Turo cancelled my rental during my flight. I didn't know until after landing. The host had an issue with the vehicle not being returned to them. Turo did give me the option of using what I'd already paid towards another rental with a different host or receiving a refund at a later date. I would suggest to Turo that refunds d/t cancellations unrelated to the customer be made immediately instead of at a later date. It can be used towards another rental/parking fees.

I used Turo in California, and it was a great experience. But I recently rented in Florida, and the experience was horrible. The vehicle we rented had transmission issues. Also, the ac was not working. At the end of the rental, I was charged for things that on the ad clearly stated were included in the rental. I reached out to the host, and I also reached out to Turo, but nothing was done. It was such a bad experience that I will never rent from them again.

Useless
Impossible to rent a car despite being an approved driver with spotless driver history, and providing all necessary information. Don't waste your time - I'll stick to Communauto and regular rental car companies.

No me permite cerrar la cuenta
Hello, very good service but what I don't understand is that if I want to close my account after I deliver the car because I don't want to use the application and my trip ended only then that I want to close it it tells me that we have a problem that I try a few minutes later that you can't but to collect if they charged at the moment and what I don't understand is that if the account is personal like Facebook and other platforms why do they put so many problems to close it but to open it none and I'm upset about that

Doesn't allow you to disable push notifications for marketing
I enable push notifications because I'm on a trip. Turo spams me with pointless notifications. Today's was "Book a big truck to help with your spring cleaning." Who wants to see these junk notifications? No way to disable them except to disable all notifications, including the ones I might need to see, like ya know, messages about the car I'm driving right now. Someone somewhere determined that the people (me) they'd piss off matter less than the eyeballs they'd entice into the app. Well just here to register my discontent.

Worst platform
Predatory company, awful customer service, even worse and harassing hosts. Unless you like your card on file charged for who knows what and then transferred across the entire Middle East trying to resolve issues that arise (many will) then don't bother

not helpful when they listed a car with 8 seats. landed at 1 am and found out it only had seven. took over 2 weeks to straighten it out leaving me to rent a second car... would not recommend their support. which jept telling me I was at fault.

Customer service was useless and untruthful. Tried to get $1900.00 even though they had acknowledged nothing was due.
