Honestly trash service. Tried to pick up a truck for over an hour, AFTER ARRIVING AT THE PICK UP SPOT, and can't get past the verification, despite putting in multiple people. If you want to move your things, use literally anything else, because you'll waste your time trying to get a hold of something here. Also "customer service" is more worried about his softball team than actually helping out the veteran who finally got a day off from working 2 jobs trying to move their things.

worst app, went to the location in Kingston ON, went in to speak to a person to get help with our truck and they refused to help us saying that I have to download this app because they can't help us in person. checking my bank today and paying through the app they have taken an extra $583.08...on a truck that was on $291.04. went into the location i dropped the truck off in Ottawa ON, just for them to tell me they can't help me and that i have to go back to Kingston to get help.

Really terrible experience of the app not showing instructions on how to access the truck! If pickup is late, then prompt the users to take an alternate action instead of hiding the pickup instructions all together. Hire a better UI/UX designer.

Frozen at best
The U-Haul app was once a strong app however over the last year it has begun freezing every time I try to rent equipment for a quick local move. It has become faster and easier to walk into a Home Depot and rent their equipment. The new changes to signing into the app has become more difficult too.

Overpay or OVERPAY
The first thing they asked me about renting the 15 ft box truck is "how many miles are you gonna go?" and "how many hours will you use the truck?". I HAVE NO IDEA!!! This is a horrible system because I doubt anyone knows exactly how many 15 ft box trucks all their stuff fits in and how many trips they'll have to take. Either pay for too many miles/hours or pay your additional fees for going over. This is ridiculous. Uhaul should be like a taxi service charged based on how much you actually used when you return the truck. The miles/hours question should only be for record/security reasons.

Uhaul is the worst company now! they have these little mom and pop places and they completely rip you off! I rent one for in town move and the guy that rent me it wasn't the main person that does the rent and he never wroat down the miles of the van before we got in there and we got told once we drop it off that I drove 90miles in town which was t even possible! I live in lake elsinore and 90miles is driving to LA when I explained there was no wayyyy they didn't care to hear it!!

The people are great but the app sucks. Its better to wait for 15min in line and not play with the app Truck worked fine ------------------- Pickup: Uhaul staff asked to use the uhaul APP but the app lockup , gets stuck. I had your associate help. same issues . We had to default back to using the desk computer to rent the truck.. 40min wasted to use the app. Return: same thing happen on the return.. another 45min wasted using the app..
