Clock in/out
The option to clock out even after you clocked out causes confusion and accidents. Bad system.

Issues
Im not happy with this app. I have to login 2-3 times a day just to clock in which makes me late clocking in for my shift. And recently it hasnt been recording my punches correctly. It splits them up making it seem like I missed a punch. Then me and my supervisor have to correct my punches. It hasnt made clocking easy at all. My employer is actually switching to a new app very soon for us to clock in and manage our ppt.

Geofence
Having trouble periodically clocking in and out because the geofence is not recognized when in fact I am clocking within the perimeter of the geofence. Ie: I can clock in but not out sometimes in the same spot that I clocked in that morning. Or I can clock in and a guy on my crew cannot and he is in the same spot and vice versa. And sometimes no troubles

Whole software is trash, not just the app
How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways: - change request process is unnecessarily complicated. My supervisor has the ability to simply pull up my entire timesheet for the pay period, edit times, hit save and be done with it. Why do the employee users not have that? - And why does each change need to be formally requested and approved anyway? My supervisor still needs to approve the whole thing at the end of the pay period anyway, so this extra approval is redundant. - the app often decides for me whether I'm clocking in or clocking out. Say I clock in at 8am, and end up working late, like to 7:30pm. I try to clock out at 7:30pm and this trash system decides too much time has passed and it clocks me IN again. To fix that one stupid “feature”, I have to submit a complicated series of change requests that must be approved by my supervisor in a very specific yet mysterious order lest it become even more of cluster-f¥€k. - sometimes my timesheet became so messed up that I ended up writing out my times and giving it to my supervisor to enter manually for me. Hello, why are we paying for this service if we must bypass it half the time? - it logs me out on my phone after a few minutes EVERY time, which matters because: - login is slow even if it goes without any annoying hitches. This steals time from me that I did not get paid for. - two-factor authentication is required every 7 days. On every device seperately. I feel like I am CONSTANTLY re-authenticating my log-in which steals time from me that I could have been paid for. - I used to be able to log in by face recognition on my phone but the latest update removed that ability. This was an essential feature if you forgot to clock in before you began a drive. Facial recognition allowed you to quickly clock in without being distracted from the road. Plus it just sped up the login process. But it's gone now. Again, this equates to stealing money from me. - in addition to not having face recognition, the app also will not remember that I have the password saved in my phone and in all my browsers. And since it logs me out every time after a few minutes, EVERY single time I must (1) manually open the passwords app, (2) manually seek for UKG in the list, oh wait - no of course it's not listed under something obvious like “UKG”. It's actually “entertimeonline” or something like that, (3) manually re-seek my passwords list for “enter time”, (4) wait for the slow server to populate it in, (5) hit the login button. (6) wait for slow login. Too often I must also (7) receive 2-factor authentication alert, (8) choose the correct method and tell it to send the code, (9) wait for the code, (10) enter the code manually bc it won't auto populate like any other verification code that is sent to my phone, (11) finally I may now clock in. Congratulations, you just stole my money. Again. Thankfully the latest update did do one thing right. They used to require an absurdly long and complicated password. I could not think of anything long enough to fit their requirement besides “!Long@ssp[handle] ” Thankfully they changed the requirement to something more reasonable. I have used several different time keeping softwares over the past several years. Our company seemed to be trying different solutions for a while. Some were great, some ok, some not so great. For some reason they landed on this one, which is hands down the absolute WORST. Maybe the supervisor and system admin experience is not so frustrating, I don't know. Its either that or our HR system admin was simply tired of onboarding new systems every year. I don't know. This software has nice design aesthetics though. If only they had invested as much effort into developing a useful product as they did making it pleasing to look at.
