Tried to close my account and was told I'm not allowed until I pay the entire bill to zero. Then said it's in my contract, so I pulled up the contract while on phone, asked where at🤔. He said I can't shot you bcz it's written in lawyers terminology and they don't even understand🧐😡. Even tho I'm still making payments they refused to close it. So fuh em 🤡

I finally managed to get my mohey transfered to a real bank. And I plan to keep my money away from this institution. I do not recommend to anyone. They have locked my card two times in the short period I have banked with them. I spent several hours on calls trying to gain access to my money. Total bliss from these people! Certainly not an Upgrade.

Constantly get transfer denials, other side says that upgrade says insufficient funds when I have over $1000 in it for transfer of $50. got a way around it by transferring from the upgrade app itself. also had some problems with Google pay at first. otherwise satisfied and it has card lock which is a must in Memphis. if I remember and I don't have anymore issues I'll change to 5 but currently it gets a 4. btw if you're considering getting it I'd say get swag bucks first because they gave me $75

Upgrade will give you a chance to help fix your credit. That is what I was doing. Then the pandemic hit and egg prices slammed the country. During this difficult time, they lowered my credit limit out of no where and then raised the interest rate. Didn't even tell me. Mind you all of my accounts are always paid in advance in the beginning of the month. Even my cc. My scores are better, but once these accounts are paid, I'm closing them for good. You take credit from people who are doing better?!

Scam. Recently started applying a monthly charge to inactive accounts, but it's impossible to close your account. They want a selfie holding a paper with account details, yet it's physically impossible. They want your entire arm "including elbow" visible. They rejected the best i could do so i just said to close my account. They sent confirmation to close it then said if i don't remove my balance the account will remain active. To do that i need to update my new and another impossible selfie

Changing rating to a one star because the app is no longer compatible with my phone. Shouldn't need the latest and most expensive technology just to stay up to date with apps.

Suspended account for over 3 months????
In all my life, I've never seen anything like this happen that an online bank would suspend an account over 3 months with no reasonable explanation. Since 12/19/2024, you suspended my account with a balance of about $67,000. I've been patient, I've been reaching out over and over. Did you guys use my money for your personal business? Are you guys wishing I'm dead so you can claim my money? I've provided an account for my money to be transferred into and you guys said 7-10 business days. Why have I not gotten my money or any response yet. Every agent I spoke with had different stories to tell me. Are you guys this incompetent? Was it crime banking with Upgrade? Please I need my money. I have given you all the time in the world to review my account. I can't even carry out my financial activities because of your selfish reasons and delay.
