New checking account that will not let me deposit money into it. That is absurd.

This app is horrible
This app is horrible. It has been for years. Now it only lets me log in with my pin after I continue to change it to user name and password.

Hate the app
I just tried putting in a claim for a flooded basement. It is late at night. As I'm almost done, I accidentally hit the back button and lost EVERYTHING! I checked the current claims to see if it did save it up to that point and it was not listed. USAA, need better safeguards when you know someone is working on their phone, under stress and it is super easy to hit the wrong button.

USAA and their service great - chat window is horrible
Worked w an agent today and used their chat feature. The autocorrect on it was horrible, where I spent double the time it should have taken due to fixing the words in the chat. I suspect this is USAA issues since I've never had my iPhone IOS spell so terribly.

Service
Service both online and over the phone has deteriorated greatly over the past perhaps 10 years. I used to communicate with thoughtful, well-informed employees who were proud of their jobs and their employer. That is not the case now. My family has been with USAA for generations. I was a commercial casualty underwriter for two companies and would advise folks to go with USAA if they qualified to join. I never recommend this now. I haven't switched yet but will be shopping my coverage soon. It's truly unfortunate that a once fine company has fallen so badly.

USAA use to be great. Now they are useless, expensive and have terrible customer service.
