Debit card
This card is a total mess and can't b used for nothing more than paying bills straight from car can't used in bank nor transfer funds nor let companies take payment and it doesn't have a bank number nor account number I'm in the process of getting my account transferred to a bank and the company has poor service can't access my account when needed

It’s not a user friendly card !
You cannot do anything except withdraw cash or pay bills online. You cannot even use Face ID to get card information transactions. Very limited.

Works for a while then doesn't. Twice in last couple years. Not bad I guess, just annoying.

I've been trying to call for a week because I can't use the card to withdraw money at any ATM I can't get cash or pay anywhere customer service doesn't answer and they don't answer calls 😡

Uninstalled, reinstalled, repeat.
Just randomly app will not open. Only recourse is uninstalling and reinstalling. Never know when, sometimes it when I need to unlock card for a purchase. Very aggravating. Please fix this.

Stole my money
My card has been hacked twice. I have the card in hand and a charge in Connecticut was charged at Walmart and picked up there and they said it was a legitimate charge. I live in Las Vegas and it was picked up one hour before I called to stop chargers to my card because my charge was declined. Go figure

Customer service???
I have spent hours on hold waiting to speak to an actual person for a very serious issue with my card. The fact that I did not get anybody until almost 11:30 PM when my husband and I both were trying to frantically press zero for an operator over and over with each call does not sit well with me. The lady I spoke with finally was absolutely professional and very cordial. Something has to be done about the wait time on hold for this company. Please!!

With the new mobile application for your Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® card, you can manage your money conveniently and securely from your mobile device. The mobile application is free to download for the cardholders whose card number starts with 533248. You need to register again with your card details prior to logging in the first time.

Please Note: If your card begins with 511563 DO NOT download this app. Please look in the app store for the yellow Direct Express® logo with a description stating that the app is for cards which start with the numbers 511563.

When you sign up to receive your federal benefits on the Direct Express® card, you will receive your payment every month without having to worry about cashing your check or having it lost or stolen. Instead of receiving a check, your money will be automatically deposited to your Direct Express® card account on payment day. You can use your card to make purchases at stores that accept Debit MasterCard®, withdraw cash from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and get cash back when you make purchases. You can also use your debit card online to make payments and to also buy money orders at the U.S. Post Office.
