Vipps itself is okay, but the app is horrible. Just chaos and ads on the front page. No way to change and make it minimalistic to just what you want.

Reinstalling on a new phone doesn't work, the app hangs and doesn't continue after the code from the parent is entered. Tried on two different children and phones now. Both hang after the six-digit parent code for reactivation. Now the children no longer have Vipps...

Totally ruined the user interface and experience with unnecessary adds like information. Trying to force you to use loyalty cards, add new credit cards etc..

They lost my 7000 nok. And no one is responsible....It is insane. Very bad and useless customer support desk which only says "wait"... now bank is saying speak with vipps, vipps says wait for bank.... 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬 they told me there was a problem in the morning today ( 12.03) and fixed money would be seen in your account.... nothing....

Was going to pay for a product using Vipps. The money was ''caught'' during this process and I ended up in the red with the bank. Called all services and no one had an answer sp the product cost me double.

With Vipps you’re able to: • Send and request money • Send gifts • View your account balance If you're older than 15 years old you can also: • Pay a business • Pay in stores • Pay online • Pay bills • Settle expenses in a group • Create a mobile appscription To use Vipps you’ll need: • A Norwegian national identity number or d-number • A Norwegian mobile number • A Norwegian bank account If you're above 15 years old you'll need: • A Norwegian payment card (Visa or MasterCard) • An email address • BankID If you add a picture of yourself, it’s easier for others to see who you are - if you don't we'll give you a Vipps-emoji! You can send up to 5000 kr for free. If you want to send more than 5000 kr the charge is 1% of the total amount. Sending gifts cost 5 kroner, but is free of charge for vippsers under 15. There is no charge for receiving money and sending money to a business or organisation is free no matter the amount. It is also free of charge to shop with Vipps online, pay in stores and pay bills.
