3/30/2025: Your most recent update has made your app even more janky. I am unable to view any 24/7 recording, if I go to a triggered detection it just pops back to the live view. I didn't think it was possible for you to make it even more terrible but somehow you did! This is the worst app I've ever used. Vivint cust service doesn't even know how to fix it.

Lots of delays

I overall like Vivint but there's a lot of delays when trying to open one of my cameras to view. The 24 hour playback is also glitchy. If someone is actively at my door and I can't pull up the doorbell camera it's kind of pointless to have it if it only works sometimes. It has nothing to do with my WiFi or internet connection either. I thoroughly check everything when it happens.

Camera Lags and Can’t Use Audio

Since installation, I've constantly had problems with the camera feeds lagging and taking forever to load. Same with audio. What good are cameras and doorbell cameras if I can't use the video or audio functions? I've spent a very long time on help chats and have had Vivint technicians come on site. Not sure why this is such a challenge.

“Smart” Thermostats

Vivint required thermostat upgrades (at a significant cost) to regain the previously available remote control functionality. The new thermostats change my manual settings w/o notice ! Maddening!!

I got with Vivint back in appreciately 2016, fast forward to today, the company has since declined in quality and customer service. spending 4hrs on the phone with them got me no where, all they care about is taking more money from the consumer. The incompetence with the company and the lack of knowledge with their own equipment allowed then to sell me equipment that was less comparable with my other equipment.

app is super slow pulling up cameras ect. I always get late notifications when my door opens or something like that.
