Used to be great
The Vizio app was the perfect app to use when I couldn't find the remote or after the dog had gotten a hold of it. With that said it's seamless connectivity and easily available app choices that would immediately open is no more. The app is glitchy, and filled with problems. I don't know what changed but it has continued to be a constant nightmare for me to use.

Doesn't seem to support my TV anymore, can't pair just says connection refused. Vizio remote is garbage with no way to get into settings. Mistake to purchase Vizio products. For further info I did try support. They offered nothing I have not already done multiple times. I dug an old phone out of a drawer that had a version of the app that hasn't been updated in years. TV paired with that fine and I could get into settings again. Issue seems to be with the legacy connect option of the new app.

Cannot use any controls from the app, everything on the Soundbar works fine from them physical remote but app fails to connect. customer support no help after 1 hour with them, nothing resolved. 12/21 follow up: Typical response " contact award-winning customer support" They didn't even read my review when I said I was on with their support for over an hour.

Here we go again. Can we just get a consistent remote function without the added BS. In the effort to "make things bigger and better," connection is lost again. Or even better, can we just get a standard remote that can be purchased since we were shafted with the basic remote that came with our "smart" tvs, so we don't have to use software that is hit or miss with each update.

VIZIO Crave Speakers cannot output audio from TVs/displays or be connected as an additional channel to an existing sound bar or sound system. Additional supported SmartCast or Chromecast-enabled audio products are required (not included) for Multi-Room feature. Streaming different songs to different speakers at the same time is not supported when using a single app running on a single mobile device. To stream a different song to different speakers at the same time, you’ll need to stream from a different app or a separate mobile device.
