Years ago, this was a fabulous app and service. Very user-friendly, and no fuss booking. I booked 5 times using it. With updating and changing the app, all my past stays were removed, and now shows me as never renting anything. Customer service with VRBO said all past retails are removed if you don't use the service every year or two. Not everyone travels yearly. The new interface is clunking, small, and difficult to use. And customer service keeps going downhill.

Winter rental
Very nice house with a few issues. Landlords very nice and responsive. Superb location. Grass not cut except in last 3-4 days of departure. I rented this home for 90 days. Grass needed cutting. Refrigerator does not make ice due to a bad electronic module. House to be sold so renters trying to not make additional capital investment. Internet speed “basic” making streaming on the TV a royal pain. I would rent this house again next year but 3 improvements indicated above needs to be addressed.

I have used VRBO many times with good outcomes. But this time 3/25 I booked a property, everything went through except on the app it shows I have no bookings So now I am unable to get information on the app regarding my booking. It states that I have no bookings. Because of an ice storm and unaccessibility to the rental, I cannot even make a cancellation to get my money back and VRBO phone lines are also not working. I am beyond frustrated!

I cannot look at anything without the app trying to make me do a puzzle every 2 seconds to prove I am human. Deleted app cause it wasn't worth it.

terrible, got ripped off never got any help. just sorry we took your money for a misrepresentation of a sorry excuse for a new condo..lies and thieves.. couldn't even breathe inside condo bld. stunk so bad. whole company gives no help for the places the represent. list all my money had to fund other accommodations at last minute..in Miami no less..disgusted

We rented a very nice little camper near Crystal River, FL for six nights in April. VRBO said there was a $1500 damage deposit on the property which I gladly paid knowing we wouldn't damage a thing. Now they are saying there is no refund on it after it clearly shows up on our credit card statement. Thus far VRBO has not been cooperative at all getting this issue fixed. As it stands right now our little $75 a night camper has cost us $346+ a night!

I'm disappointed with Vrbo. I tried to book an available apartment, but after entering my personal details, I found out that the host does not accept bookings. I find this behavior incorrect and not transparent. They ask for personal data for no reason. I don't recommend Vrbo. Very bad service. Waste of time. Rating: 1/5"
