Last update: App no longer works at all, crashes when starting. Last update: App starts, but is downgraded to free version. The troubleshooting suggestions on the website (to restore the VV) don't work. ...And now?

"It's always your own fault"... etc. That's bad... DWD shouldn't have an app at all anymore. Update 12/2021....that could have been the case, that.... Update 03/2025....I've had an ancient version for ages (I can't find the version) - and still no frills (S6)! I'm happy, without updates. DWD should realize after what feels like 10 years that nothing has EVER improved and that the consumers were right. Recommendation: back to the roots!

I have to pay for the full version to be able to place a widget? Uninstalled 1 minute after installing. Don't even care to browse the app's non existent free features. I would pay for more detailed weather information but not for the ability to place a widget on the home screen. Also no widget type has a clock in it. Disappointing. Make the app cost money up front and post more pictures and not waste our time and data.

I have been using the full version on all devices for years. Now recently (since the update on February 20?) the widgets are no longer displayed on my Samsung Tab S9 tablet. The space is white and only contains the error message that the widget cannot be displayed. But only with the LawnChair launcher. The widgets are displayed under OneUI. The app itself works perfectly

Since the last update, the widgets no longer work. Otherwise, good app, I could always rely on the data.

The app works very well so far. I just can't find the pollen function on my phone. My husband has a much older phone, and it's there. My girlfriend has an old iPhone, and it works there too. Installing it didn't help either. As someone who suffers from allergies, it would be nice to have everything in one app.

For my place of residence (Leimen in the Rhein-Neckar district) as a favorite, a far away responsible forecast location (Waghäusel) is selected in advance by default. For the neighboring city of Heidelberg, which can be selected manually as an alternative, the app states that no exact forecast values can be displayed. An insanity!

best weather app so far, since recently no more display of the current temperature in the widget and no more review in the app. Everything greyed out, even clearing cache or alternative location (Bremen Airport) did not bring any improvement.

At the personally selected weather station, the currently measured temperature should be compared at least 2x per hour in the app.
