YNAB: Budgeting & Finance - Latest Quality Issues

Couldn’t connect any of my accounts
I was excited to try the app because of all the good reviews and got a free trial. However, I run into an error every time I try to connect my accounts. Thanks for a free trial, but I could not even make the app work as it should…

Account connections required third party - doesn’t work and risky
After putting in all of my information and agreeing to the shady terms of service from Plaid - none of my accounts can connect (despite having successful logins within YNAB). YNAB then links to a bunch of troubleshooting articles that are difficult to navigate and none of them address these issues. Now they and their third party services collected my credentials and my personal info while delivering zero of the promised service in this shady app.

Only in USD
I read online that this app could combine German and US bank accounts. Everything in the app is only shown in USD with no where to change the currency. Therefore, I need to stop the subscription during the free trial period

Started off great
When I first started using YNAB I loved it. It was helpful and kept me organized and accountable. About 9 months ago my bank lost connection and I was unable to get it relinked. I reached out for help multiple times with no resolution. So most of this year has been a waste for tracking with YNAB and a waste of the nearly $100 subscription. I've also asked numerous times for a refund since I've paid for a service I was unable to use, my request was ignored. I was finally able to relink my account however most of the transactions this year won't import so currently according to YNAB I'm in the red. It will take too much time to reconcile plus with the increase in subscription price and lack of support I received, I won't be renewing.

Fortnightly budgeting needed
Have started setting up as I've read so many great reviews on using YNAB, especially for those of us with ADHD…. But I'm finding it so hard to set up bills that are paid fortnightly. There's only a custom option for months not weeks

Not for Australians
This app does not accommodate Australian bank accounts despite claiming it does, you will only be aware of this once you've spent a couple of hours setting up a budget. Do not recommend

Confusing
This app is very hard to navigate. It is hard to find your transaction history. You have to go all over the place before you finally get to any kind of d of transaction history. I want a register of all my transactions in one place and not have to do it by each category. I guess I will go back to spreadsheets.

Terrible Update
Don't get me wrong, the method and this app have changed my life. I will always use this app. After decades of money unmanageability, I now know what my money is for. I've paid off tens of thousands in debt, I've been debt free ever since (except for those pesky student loans), and I've saved tens of thousands of dollars. So why the bad review? The new update makes me press so many more buttons now to assign money. Assigning money used to be so easy. Now I have to use a slider switch. It seems to always be facing the wrong way for what I want to do. So now I have to press out of the number pad, switch the slider, press the dollar entry part, and then use the keypad. TOO MANY PRESSES. Before the update, it took two presses. Enter the dollar amount, press enter. Done. Maybe I was using the app wrong all these years, but I don't think so. Bring back the old user interface.
