Unreliable service
Even if you book a car which is available on the app, there's no guarantee that you'll get to use the car at the specified time. There seems to be no accountability after talking to the customer service however it's clear it's a management problem.

Horrible Customer Services
Never rated an app before but I am incensed after Zipcar slapped me with an astonishing £120 fine on top of the £320 TFL fine after I drove through a tunnel unaware that the van was too heavy. BEWARE: it doesn't say when you book and there is zero cautionary information! James had a huge power trip, was horribly unsympathetic and I could not have had a worse experience. Thanks for nothing!

Unreliable
I had a reservation that I booked 2 days in advance get cancelled an hour before the trip began. They were unable to find any replacements and I had to cancel my trip because of it. While customer service was kind, that still does not excuse the unreliability behind their service.

book a car. only one was 30 minute away. $25 Uber. get there can't get in. call support they say car dead they will find another to transfer me to. oh but wait there are no cars so we will just refund you the money and enjoy being in the middle of no where and you're Uber fee is in the wind. along with the application fee and insurance.. ridiculous

Here's The Story Of Of Issue/Issues, I Just Signed Up For ZipCar And Ask To Speak To An Supervisor From A Customer Service Representative And Were Told That An Sup. Doesn't Have An Direct Line, That I Would Have To Email An The An Supervisor. Asked For There Email And Couldn't Under The Guy (Due To His Accent,Nothing Wrong W/ His Accent)So He State That He Could Email Me It. Still No Email

Terrible experience. Reserved SUV, arrived on time w/ kids — car was missing. Support was useless, lied about help, chat gave FAQ links. 45 mins wasted, missed plans, forced to take Uber (twice). Got email 1 hr later saying car changed w/o notice. Second agent hung up on me when I asked to escalate. No refund yet. Completely unreliable — avoid if you have time-sensitive plans.

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Zipcar. I tried logging into my account, but the verification code never arrives on my phone. I attempted multiple times, but nothing worked. To make matters worse, trying to reach their customer support is a nightmare. No one picks up, and the support ticket I opened has been met with complete silence. It feels like there's no reliable way to get help when you need it. For a service that's supposed to be convenient, this has been frustrating
